Chapter 12
I felt my chest squeeze as tears blurred my vision. What- How?
"No, no no," I murmured. "This can't be happening!" A strangled cry tore out of my throat as I backed away from cheering audience. They couldnt just do that to me- could they? I didn't want to survive on blood, I couldn't.
I gagged and felt bile rising from my throat. The judge thumped his hammer once again three times and announced that the change would happen in a week from today. There was a loud roaring from the crowd. Two guards grabbed me by my shoulder and lifted me up.
My long dress was dragged as they easily carried me down the steep flight of stairs. I lowered my head and felt an indescribable amount of fury. I'll do whatever the hell I can to get away from these bloodsucking creeps! I clenched my teeth. One.. two.. three...
"Argh!" I smashed the side of my head into guards face and out of sheer luck and timing I broke out of his strong grasp.
The other guard kept a tight grip on me as I collected all my spit and spat at him.
"I hate your kind!" His face flashed with anger. He raised his hand and before I knew it my head snapped to the side with an alarming noise.
I gasped at hot pain exploded on my face, I could feel the swelling already. I tasted the metallic coppery taste of blood in my mouth where I had bit my tongue. I could hear the chattering of the audience and then suddenly quiet. There was a deafening screech in my head that I couldn't block out.
I squeezed my eyes shut and felt myself lifted up again. A few minutes later a door was flung open and I was thrown in. My back hit the wall and I slid off it and scraped my hands. Tears blurred my vision as I sluggishly rolled over. I felt pain everywhere. My back was hurt and my face felt swollen. I just wanted to go home, I don't want to be here anymore.
My eyelids felt puffy and heavy and soon I succumbed to the darkness.

Yeah I don't know if this story is ever going to be finished but um just thought I'd upload for anyone who wants it. Wrote this a while back
