Humiliating, Funny, or Stupid Things That Have Actually Happened to Me Recently!

Future Teacher Fail (10/5/16)

So, I have future teacher 6th period, and it was the last class of the day for me. Mrs. Swan is the teacher that I help, but when she doesn't have anything, I usually go to Mrs. Putter or Mrs. Kelley, who is my history teacher. Since Mrs. Swan didn't have anything for me today, I went to help Mrs. Putter.

Mrs. Putter asked me to move the textbooks that were on the counter to a table, so I started doing that. All the students were doing their own projects, not paying any attention to me. Moving the textbooks was slightly hard, because I wanted to do it fast, so I carried 4 at once. I'd put about 3 loads of textbooks on the table, and I went to get some more.

On the counter, there were a couple phones charging, and there was a bucket of markers, filled right to the top. I reached over and grabbed the textbooks, but as I started to take them to the table, my hand bumped the bucket of markers.

Everybody in the room turned to stare at me as the markers spilled out all over the floor. There must've been at least 100 in the bucket that were not spilled on to the floor.

"Holy crap," a random kid said. My face burned as everyone started to laugh. So did I. It was pretty funny, but I was super embarrassed.

A couple kids helped me put the markers back into the bucket, which was nice. But my face burned. I couldn't look Mrs. Putter in the eye, but she was nice enough not to say anything about it when she told me what to do next.
