My math teacher is a little bit intimidating. She doesn't always explain stuff well, and she's not the most warm and fuzzy person. But she can be nice, and she obviously likes teaching geometry better than algebra, which is good since I'm in her geometry class.

So, I'm sitting in class when the bell rings. That signals the end of the day since I have geometry seventh period. Everyone rushes out of the classroom. I happen to be walking past my math teacher (Mrs. Johnson) as I go towards the door. I'm feeling good, since I just got a 99% on a quiz, so I decide to say goodbye as I walk out.

"Have a great weekend, Mrs. Johnson!" I say politely with a smile. The words come out of my mouth before I realize it's Tuesday!

Mrs. Johnson smiles back. "You too!" Then, she realizes it. "Oh, it's not the weekend!" She gives a small laugh. "But we wish, Allison." Mrs. Johnson laughs again. I laugh with her, but still feel really embarrassed as I walk out.
