*Chapter VII*
"I managed to stand and look around. I grabbed the sword and tried to stay on guard. I was ready for anything. I was waiting for someone to show up and to strike at me. I waited and waited and waited and no one showed up. Resting sounded like a good option. 20 minutes later it all seemed safe so I rested a little more. When my eyes opened the moon lit up the dark sky and the blood in the arena glistened. The arches of the coliseum left huge shadows that looked like massive hoof prints in the dirt. A horrified, bloody scream escaped something and then it was cut off and dead silent. I was unnerved. Afraid to move or even breathe. "Yes, it was fun." Zöe quietly responded.

I will do whatever it takes to live and not die. Please Almighty Athena, give me wisdom to survive.' I was desperate. The figure I had seen earlier strolled up not looking too intimidating, but never underestimate your enemies. I drew my sword. The man chuckled 'you cannot beat me. I own you and everything you've ever known.' A deep, powerful voice came from behind me. I was startled and slashed my sword back towards the second voice. 'We are power, we are the entire military, we are your worst enemy' growled the second voice. The sting of betrayal ran through my blood as I looked at Nicholaus, Philipp's father, and Pirithous, your father."
