"George and I have been pranking everyone lately." Fred proudly stated at dinner one night.
"Good for you." Aria vaguely responded, while shovelling garlic noodles into her mouth.
"We should all do one 'ensemble'." George suggested, using a French word.
"What does enseblem mean?" Addison questioned, pronouncing the word wrong.
"'Ensemble'." George corrected, "It means 'together'."
"Yeah, we should all do one together." Fred said.
"When did you start learning French?" Lylie asked, ignoring the main topic.
George exclaimed, "Can we just forget about the French word?"
The group mumbled in agreement.
"Anyway, let's do a wicked prank all together." George continued with his pitch.
"Okay, sounds fun. It has to be epic, though." Lylie laughed, stood up, and left the Great Hall to complete her homework.
*
"I've got an idea!" Addison jumped out of her socks.
Lylie, Fred, George and Aria looked up from staring at their blank notebooks.
"What is it?" Fred was eager to get started.
Addison looked upward, obviously thinking, she concluded, "Nevermind."
The bored students all sighed in unison.
"Hey, I know!" A wide, growing smile spread across Lee's face.
"What?" George asked excitedly.
"Uh, actually no." Lee shrugged sadly.
"I know exactly what to do!" Lylie grinned.
"What?" Fred questioned with hope in his eyes.
"How about we give everyone fake wands during Defense Against the Dark Arts? Everyone will be trying so hard, it'll be hilarious."
Fred and George exchanged glances before declaring in unison, "YES!"
*
"Everything is planned out, right?" Addison twirled a piece of her light brown hair.
"Yeh, quite fun to plan, actually." Fred smiled as he folded his arms across his chest.
"We won't get caught?" Addison pestered, twirled her hair more aggressively.
George's words weren't convincing, "Not ... likely ..." He looked away.
"Oh no." Addison stifled a cry as she shook her head.
Fred consoled Addison, "It's fine. No one will know it was us. Especially not Lockhart. Not that tosser."
George added, "He's a proper git."
Addison nodded her head slowly, taking their words into consideration.
*
"Alright, everyone. Everyone! Please, listen to I, Gilderoy Lockhart." Professor Lockhart flashed a cocky, toothy smile.
"You switched out the wands?" Lylie whispered to Fred.
"Yeah, and I also added a little spin on it." Fred snickered.
"Fred! What did you do?" Lylie bit her lip.
"I switched everyone's wands EXCEPT for mine, yours and Georges'."
"Smart. But what about Lee, Aria and Addison?" Lylie shook her head in disbelief.
"We're the ones who actually set this up. We should get more credit than them. So, ha." Fred pursed his lips and leaned back in his chair.
Lylie rolled her eyes.
By the time Fred and Lylie were done their conversation, Lockhart was done his explanation on how to perform the spell they were learning.
Lockhart chanted, "Everybody on their feet!"
All the students stood up, wands at the ready.
"Begin."
All in unison, the students flicked their wands accordingly. Fred, Lylie and George's wands worked, and their spells came out perfectly. Whereas the rest of the students were struggling.
"Well well well. I see this is a bit difficult for most of you." Lockhart looked around aimlessly, he wasn't sure what to do with his class.
"Congratulations to those of you who succeeded." Lockhart nodded his head in approval to Lylie and the twins.
Lockhart mumbled, "Uh, class dismissed."
Fred and George said at the same time, "That was spectacular."
