"Come in, come in, love! We couldn't wait to have you here!" Mrs. Marbelle exclaimed as Lylie stepped inside their house.

"Lylie, how's your summer been?" Addison popped up behind her mother.

"It's been relaxing, but I couldn't wait to come here!" Lylie rolled in her luggage and slipped off her sneakers.

"I'll show you where you're sleeping, c'mon!" Addison tugged on Lylie's arm and pulled her upstairs to her room.

"Mum set up the bunk bed from the storage! Do you want the top bunk?" Addison beamed.

"Yeah, sure, the top bunk is my favourite!" Lylie exclaimed, unzipping her suitcase to settle in.

"I can't believe your parents are going away for 3 days!" Addison cried, "This is going to be so much fun!"

*

"Lylie. I really don't think that's the best idea." Addison sneered.

"Why not, can't we just mail them like this?" Lylie countered.

"There should be intriquent designs on them. Let's do them."

"No, it's not a wedding card!"

"Lylie, can we just design the postcards? Sorry, but your idea isn't smart."

"That's rude. They don't need designs. The postcards just say 'have a good summer' and couple other messages. And, they're going to Fred, George, Aria and Lee. They don't have to be designed!"

"Lylie, I think it would look more appealing if the letters weren't just blank."

"I'll design George's, and he'll love it - then, you'll leave Fred's blank, and he'll think it's bland, ordinary, and uninteresting." Addison snapped.

"Hey!" Lylie shouted in anger. She yanked the letters from Addison's hand and whipped them across the bedroom.

"I hate you!" Addison yelled. Suddenly, she stopped. Her enraged eyes instantly morphed into guilty, painful ones. "L - Lylie - I didn't actually mean that. I - "

Lylie's cold, hard glare expressed every word of possible sadness she could have ever spoken.

*

"I - I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said that, over something so stupid." Addison sighed in relief that Lylie was listening to her. The two weren't very talkative at dinner or that evening.

"I know. I shouldn't have snatched those letters. And, honestly, I know your design ideas were smart. I just fought you for the sake of arguing."

"No, designing them wasn't necessary, I don't know why I wanted to do that."

"At least we're agreeing." Lylie laughed, trying to brighten the situation.

"I'm glad we've settled this. Every friendship is stronger once they've gotten over a fight. And our fight - something so stupid that we snapped at." Addison shook her head in disbelief.

"I hope we never disagree again." Lylie said, then hugged Addison.
