"What's up man?" Joe settled beside him, Jon sent me a smile and I rolled my eyes. I went to stand up once I saw Paige walk in, but Joe would not let go of my hand, I guess she felt me staring because she looked around before she met my annoyed expression
"Luna! How you doing?" I silently thanked her as Joe looked over
"Wanna come down to make up with me?" Joe let go of my hand and turned back to Jon
"Oh my gosh thank you" she laughed lightly as we walked to make up
"Why were you stuck there?" She asked, looking at me. I sighed and rolled my eyes
"That's a long story" we made it and she settled in the chair waiting for a woman there to start on her
"I've got nothing but time" she sent me a kind smile
"I don't know Paige, it's kind of-"
"Personal? Yeah, I get it" her face took on a lost look
"I'm guessing you have a similar situation" she shifted uncomfortably
"Something along the lines" I smiled at her, she wasn't paying attention. She was looking at someone down the hall
"Hey. You're Luna?" I looked up, a man with slicked back bleach blonde hair stood in front of me. His arms were crossed over his chest and he wore a kind smile
"Dolph Ziggler.....you're Dolph Ziggler!" He just looked at me
"I am.. so, I hear your title shot got pushed up" I gathered myself after realizing that I was about to have a conversation with my child hood crush
"Yeah. Yeah, it did" he smiled at me
"I just want to say congrats, I've never seen a rookie go this far this fast" he gave me a pat on the shoulder before walking away
"Luna?" Paige looked at me as I watched him walk away
"Do you like him or something?"
"Well I did, before I dated Joe. In my indie days" I mentally acknowledged the fact that I could now say 'in my indie days' . Good job Luna
"You seemed star struck" she laughed and I shook my head at her
"I was for a second" she laughed once again, the lady working on her moved and began curling her hair
"Hey, what ever happened to that Lexi chick?" My smile fell just a little bit, it got quiet. Painfully quiet. I looked down at my hands
"She's um..." I cleared my throat
"She's missing" I wiped my eyes before I looked up at Paige, just in case I had any unwanted tears welling up
"Oh. Damn, I'm sorry"
"It's fine. I'll just... I'm gonna go find Joe"
"Luna, wait" I stood and walked back toward the locker room, not entirely expecting Joe to actually be there. I just needed to get away from Paige because I knew she would have more questions, and I know for sure I wouldn't have been able to keep my emotions in check much longer.
I pushed open the locker room door and collapsed on the couch
"Can't this just all be over? Please?" I asked silently, not entirely sure who I was asking. I turned on the T.V in attempts to wipe the thoughts from my mind, it was The New Day vs 3MB. Well, I got a kick out of that match to say the least. The locker room door opened and Joe stuck his head in
"Come on. We are on in 10" I turned off the T.V and followed close behind Joe. Between the 2 of us neither of us said anything, when we got to the curtain he turned around placing his hands on my hips
"Are you okay?"
