Could this work? (A Hometown Fanfic)

Who am i? Who are you?

I woke up in a very hard bed. This isn't mine, I thought. Just then a woman in a lab coat came in.

"Alright Katie how are you feeling?" Who's Katie? Wait who am I? Where am I?

"Em who is Katie?" I asked. I was taken back a little bit by my Irish accent. Well it looks I'm Irish. I think.

"Oh darling, you have no clue what's going on do you? I was hoping this wouldn't happen" the woman frowned.

"Where am I? If you don't mind me asking"

"Oh well hun your at the hospital, you passed out while at the park with your friends and they too you here. You must've lost your memory. Can you remember anything?" She asked.

I thought for a couple minutes but nothing came to me. Gosh I don't even know what I look like.

"I'm sorry but no. What do I look like?" I was dying to know.

The woman handed me the mirror and I examined myself. I actually didn't look that bad. I liked how I looked.

"I'm guessing my name is Katie?" The woman nodded and gave me a tiny smile.

" Can you recognize objects?" She asked and I nodded. She told me that I had friends over and that they would like to see me. I nodded and a couples minutes later four girls and six boys came came in.

The girls were gorgeous. I was nothing compared to them. The boys were ok but one really stood out to me. He had long hair swept to the side with green eyes and glasses. He was very cute. I blushed and looked down when I noticed I was staring at him.

"Kate, you're ok" one of the girls hugged me but pulled back when she noticed I wasn't hugging back.

"Kate what's wrong?" The girl with black hair asked.

I just looked at them confused.

"Emm I don't want to bother you all.... but who are you guys?" I asked. They all looked taken back.

"You've got to be kidding right?" The one with the glasses asked. I shook my head. Tears started forming in his eyes. What did I say?

"Hey, hey. It's fine c'mere." I motioned for him to come over and I pulled him into a hug. I don't know what made me do it but I felt comfortable around him. Like I had known him forever even though I didn't even know his name.

"Now I don't want to upset any of you's, but mind telling me your names?"

And they did. It took me a couple hours of talking to them to remember there names.
The blonde one is Josh, The other blonde/brunette one was Dean, the one with curly brown hair was Ryan, the one with bright blue eyes was Cian, the one with dark brown/ almost black hair was Dayl, and the last one was Brendan.

The girls were easy for me to remember.
Zoey, Amber, Gem, and Amie.
Apparently Zoey is my best friend, Amber is my cousin and Deans friend , Gem is Dayl's girlfriend, and Amie is Cian's girlfriend.

After a couple hours of talking the nurse came back in.

"Ok guys, we just found out why Katie here has lost her memory. When she was hurt a little while ago, her brain was damaged. I don't know why this didn't show up on the x-ray they took when it happened but we took another and it showed up in this one. Now we can't tell if it's permanent or not. But if it is temporary, something has to trigger a memory. One you trigger one memory, they'll all start coming back. I'm very sorry but on the bright side she is fine now and you can take her. You just need to sign a few papers."

They all looked sad and nodded. I on the other hand was happy, curious, and confused. I don't know why but I was. Why was I hurt? Why did Brendan look so hurt when i told him I didn't remember him? I had so many questions but I decided I'll ask them later. Right now I just want to get out of this place.

After all the papers were signed the girls took me home. As soon as I made it into my house I noticed all of the boys on the couch. Brendan locked eyes with me and gave me a small smile. I returned the gesture and sat down next to him on the couch.

"We told Louis about Katie" Cain said and everyone nodded. I was about to ask who Louis was when Brendan spoke up.

"Hey Kate, could I talk to you for a minute?" He asked. Everyone looked at him and nodded, it was like they already knew what he was going to say.

"Um sure" I smiled as we walked to the kitchen.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Umm, I have something to tell you. I wanted to tell you this when we were alone so that's why I didn't say this at the hospital. Katie your... oh god how do I say this? You are, I m-mean were... or is it are...." he stood there thinking. He looked so cute, I couldn't take it. I wanted to kiss him so bad. But I couldn't, I mean he probably has a girlfriend. He looked up and started to speak again but I accidentally cut him off.

"Hey Bren do you have a girlfriend?" I blurted out. I covered my mouth as soon as I could. I. And believe I just asked that. And why did I call him Bren? Oh whatever. I'm so embarrassed.

He smiled before saying,

"Actually Katie, you're my girlfriend"

Ok guys I am sososososo sorry this happened but hey it spiced things up a little.  Honestly I'm surprised I updated to fast... or is it quick? Ah whatever who cares? But I've had a lot of free time so I thought I might write you guys a chapter.

A lot of you want me to continue this story and I will just for you guys💕 but one comment caught my eye. One person told me that I got them hooked on Wattpad with my story. That comment made me smile so much because I never thought I could do that?

I love all of you so much! You guys are amazing and guess what??? We almost have 1k reads!!! I'm so happy right now, I don't know what to do. But I'll figure something out. But for now....
