"We're here."
Kayden.
I awoke from my daze, "What?" I asked to get a clarification of what Connor said.
"We're here."
Oh! Right! I glance out the window to see a nice-looking two story house with a nicely cut front lawn.
A few seconds later, Connor unbuckles his seatbelt and opens his door. I do the same and he leads me up the steps of his porch, he pulls out his keys and unlocks the door, opens it, and holds it ooen for Kayden, gesturing for him to go inside, which he does.
"Nice place you got." I state once I'm inside, i turn to see him walking in, closing the door behind me. He just smiles and says, "Thanks."
"Do you want anything?" Connor asks after a few seconds of silence, I shake my head in response.
"Ok, then follow me, my room's this way."
As we walk up tue stairs, I notice all the family photos and mentally smile.
Some people with my case might be jealous, but it just makes me happy. If I can't have something, it doesn't mean others can't.
"So tell me about yourself," I suddenly hear Connor say.
"There isn't much..,"
"Maybe, but everyone has a story. And if not, it's never to late to start."
"Poetic much? But it's true, I'm just your normal junior in highschool."
Connor
I knew he was lying, but something told me not to press, we barely know eachpther so why would he tell me his struggles?

We ended up talking for hours, I knew my parents had come home but I didn't care.
Talking to Kayden came so easily, it felt so natural.
We discussed interests, and I learned the girl sitting next to him at lunch was hos best friend Katelina.
Kayden was exactly how I imagined- sarcastic, easily flustered, innocnet, kindhearted, the list goes on, I couldn't find a flaw.
