"Well why should I?" You asked, cockily raising your eyebrows.

"Because."

"Because what?" You probed him further. He shook his head and moved away from the windowsill.

Now that was weird.

You just watched after him as he kept on walking to the door. He stopped and turned around. "You know what?!" He half yelled.

You jumped a little at the sudden raise in his volume. He began charging towards you with large paces. Unable to move, your eyes locked with his. He threw his arms on the windowsill each side of you.

"J-Jean?!" You stuttered out. Spinning around to face him, you put your hands on his shoulders. "Move away!" You ordered, although it sounded like more of a question.

"No! I've had enough of you being in charge!" He admitted. His face was merely inches away from yours.

"I'm in charge because I've been promoted!" You shouted back, becoming irritated at the tone of your subordinate's voice.

"I don't care!" He retorted. His face suddenly darted forward and closed the gap between your lips. His eyes were squeezed shut as he forced a kiss on you.

"Mphf-" You were silenced. Completely stunned by Jean's actions, you couldn't move and you had lost the will to fight back. His mouth was unmoving but absolutely captivating. You still had your eyes wide open, and so you could see every single shade of red that his face turned.

In one quick movement, he pushed himself off the windowsill and his legs carried him away from that spot, leaving your mouth to go cold.

"S-Seven minutes is up." He announced quietly. He was about to reach for the handle, but you ran up behind him and grabbed his forearm.

"Cadet, what was that?!" You asked him loudly. You heard everything outside become quiet.

"A way to get you to shut up, Captain." He answered.

Your grip on his arm became tighter as you spun him around. "What kind of an excuse is that?! Tell me the truth, dammit!"

"What truth?" He barely stuttered out. His cheeks began to tint pink.

"Do you or do you not have feelings for me?!"

"OF COURSE I DO." He shouted.

"I knew it I knew it I knew it!" Hange said behind the door without taking a breath.

You let go of his arm and pulled his collar down so that your line of sight was connected. "If you ever do that again," you said quietly before allowing a bright smile to take over your features. "Make sure you do it properly."

You pulled him closer and gave him the best kiss he could have asked for. He instantly kissed back.

"Of course they're not going to have foals!" Levi shouted at Hange. You chuckled into the kiss as you could practically hear Jean's blush.

"I love you, Idiot." You admitted as you pulled back. "You and your 'horse' face. I actually think you're goddamn handsome."

"I..." Jean spoke aloud before stopping himself and looking at the door. He frowned and bent down to your ear. "I adore you, (Y/N). I am absolutely devoted to you."

He pulled back and smiled shyly. Quickly saluting, he stared you dead in the eyes. "I am your soldier, Captain."

"Come on." You smiled hugging him quickly. "Let's go. Just beware of Springer, he might pounce on you."

"Watch out for the commander!" He laughed. He pulled away and looped an arm around your neck. "Can I be your boyfriend?" He tilted his head cutely, so uncharacteristically.

"Of course!" You giggled, pecking his forehead.

You opened the door and syepped out. Before you even had time to think, Hange had tackled you to the ground and Connie jumped on Jean, immediately forcing questions upon the both of you.

"Stupid Cadet." You smiled up at him as he blushed at all of the things Connie was asking.
