(AN: I finally uploaded in time! Don't forget that this uses the great work of Fangirling_FTW_ as inspiration because, y'know, it's a review of it. Oh, and before I forget, this isn't betaed so it isn't as good as it will be if you tell me if there's something wrong!)

*eerily bright tone* This chapter starts with the main reason you don't piss Charlie off: She's a fucking beast and will torture you slowly but surely.

{When he walked through the door, Charlie immediately left Hannah behind the counter and stalked straight for Castiel, grabbing him by the shirt and dragging him towards the back, her face almost as red as her hair. Hannah just watched them go by with a confused look, and Benny chuckled something about being in 'hot water' as they moved into the office. She released him and spun on her heel.}

*has a look of pity and horror but quickly schools her expression* Cas tries to reassure Charlie that they are 'just friends' and nothing more (more like Biz Markie's version of "Just A Friend"). But Charlie knows (with her uninstalled but still there version of Co-CEO of the DSC) that *voice catches just a bit* Cas is still not over him, having a love deeper than the ocean and all, the events of last night just reassuring it. *clearly saddened eyes and weary face* And Charlie knows that Cas is pining harder for Dean than a Christmas store, and she truly, honestly believes that Dean is going to hurt him. *her face visibly breaks* After that comment, Cas is genuinely pissed and went back home, understanding that yes, he hasn't moved on, but the friendship is too important to give it up. Both because of the improved relationship between Dean and Sam and that Cas is not alone in the world anymore, not just an island.

*schools her expression* Later, after taking a shower, Cas closes the shop up and explains to Hannah that it was just "a bit of a fight" (understatement of the century and all that). Which inspires Cas to apologise to Charlie, she saying that the nature of the relationship between Cas and Dean is not of import and they "kiss and make up". After that, a wild Dean appears at Cas' flat, for "pie", but then slips up telling Cas that he also had an earful from Charlie... *expression suddenly becomes pained* And all shit hits the fan after that.

{"I don't want things to change," Dean said quietly, "I really don't and if I could go back and not answer her call I would." He tapped his cup with his finger distractedly. "I don't even think she realised she said it, it was all a big jumble of angry words... but she said some things about how you feel... about me."}

*is sobbing uncontrollably without solace* Well isn't that just peachy. Castiel tries to say that last night was nothing, that they were just drunk and Dean attempting to say that he doesn't want things to change, that he doesn't want Cas pining after him like an idiot. *voice breaks* And you want to know what's worse? Castiel's reaction.

{ "This is going to change, Dean," Castiel sighed, almost inaudibly. In the quiet that followed, Castiel could practically hear his heart beating in his chest. "There's no way it won't change." Dean nodded, swirling ice in his cup.}

*clearly pained and sobbing* Yep, this hurts, this hurts so much. *composes herself a little bit* Dean asks if that is, indeed, true and Cas tries to tell him that it was only in the past, that he's not waiting for him, that if he meets somebody else, he'll move on (yeah, right). Dean's reaction is surprising, saying Cas is family and that that's the only thing that will change.

After that, we go on the timeskip train *whoops* to one month later, their relationship being stronger than before. Then two months later and he managed to have some dates with the same date, but in the end, it didn't work out,*sarcastically* Wonder why? In the end, we are left three months later with Cas, Dean, and Sam celebrating that the following has bought Jess an engagement ring *proud smile*. Sam goes back to his house so that Jess doesn't suspect anything. Dean tries to set Cas up with anyone *eyeroll* something that Cas, of course, denies to do.*hisses* Suddenly, our favourite Leviathan walks in. Our dear friend Dick here is a politician of the worst kind, a bigot, and also responsible for an act of vandalism against the cafe. Who the fuck votes for him? *sees CNN five minutes* Oh... yeah... *sees that she has digressed* Well, back to the story, our dear foe Dick sees Cas and thinks: "You know what? I haven't been an asshole enough this day, let's bully Castiel." He starts to taunt them about them being together, and, while Cas tries to convince him to go until Dean has the best fucking answer ever.
