I wake to the sound of buzzing in my ear, My alarm clock that never shuts up.
I sit up and hit the damn thing off before climbing out of bed and throwing a jumper and leggins on. I grab my bag and phone before running out of the house.
I check my phone to find a message from Harry.
*Slacker*
I totally ignore the message before running faster to get to the park bench in the middle I town.
"Finally, Jesus!" Harry says before practically throwing a coke at my face.
"Harry it's 9am, I am not drinking coke!" I say with a harsh tone.
He takes it off me before drinking half the bottle and putting it in his bag.
"Any plans today?" He say's as we cross the road entering a random field.
He gives me a sarcastic look Before finding a rock on the floor and throwing it.
"I brought some books, maybe we can revise you know? Mocks are next week!" I say before he turns to me narrowing his brow.
"Sure, whatever you say" he says before falling to the floor and just lying there.
"Harry!" I say with a harsh tone trying to knock some sense into him.
"Sarah!" He fires back obviously mocking me.
"I need to tell you something, important" I whisper.
"And what is that?" he says getting his phone from his pocket.
"I'm moving, before you say anything I just want to-"
"What?" He snaps, A shiver runs down my spine.
"I can't help it I... It's... Mum's had a transfer and Dad say's we all have to go, I begged him to not take me but I'm only 15 I have to go!" I rush hoping he doesn't interrupt.
"What the hell Sar, are you serious? Can't she just stay here ... I mean come on! You can't just start a new life! Where are you even going?" He asks. His tone is harsh and giving me goose bumps.
"London" I say as quite as possible.
He shakes his head before standing up.
"Where are you going?" I shout as he walks quickly across the glowing grass.
he doesn't answer, just quickens his pace.
"Harry!" I shout grabing my bag and chasing after him.
He doesn't reply like last time, he just keeps speeding off.
"For God's sake Harry where are you going?" I shout running up towards him.
He turns around and simply shrugs his shoulders.
"To get a drink, I don't know!" he says before humming and walking slowly to let me keep up.
"Can we talk about this, please. You know I'm as pissed as you but I'm not storming off like a child!" I snap.
"And persides you have that coke left" I laugh trying to break the tension.
"How long?" He breathes
"Huh?"
"How long? until you know, you leave me?" He says looking at the floor staring at his feet.
I shrug my shoulders before adjusting my backpack that is lying on my shoulders.
"About 2 weeks" I reply. "Mocks will be over and it will be christmas. We already have a house" I say trying not to make the situation worse
He nods and looks away. "okay, how come you left it so long to tell me?"
"I dunno, I only found out myself on Monday, I'm not pleased about it to you know-"
"I know, it's just I don't care how big our friendship group is, we have been there since the beggining. School won't be the same and not meeting you everyday won't either. I have to go, me and the guys are rehearsing and I have work after Sarah" He says leaving me struck.
"Sarah? what the hell Harry? why are you now acting like you don't know me?" I say frowning. God he's grumpy.
"I'm just stunned okay, now go pack for your great new life" He says before turning around leaving his words as the last.
...
"Sarah come on let's go." My mum shouts from downstairs. I grab the last box from my room before hopping down the stairs.
I place it in the back of the truck before I get my phone out of my pocket and check it, no texts. harry has avoided me all week and hasn't returned any of my calls.
"I don't think he's gonna say bye, give him time and skype him in a few days, we can always come back and visit!" My mum says trying to cheer me up. It didn't help. I dont even have a laptop.
I jump into the removal van before pulling my Dog Casey into my lap.
"Sarah hey wait" I hear Harry shout as he walks up the drive. I open the door but stay inside the van.
"Harry, why have you been ignoring me and everything, I didn't think you would say bye." I say staring at his hair. It's gone straighter from when I last saw him.
"I know I'm a bad friend and I'm sorry. I made you this and I hope it makes up for it. I'm sorry I really am I just couldn't face seeing you, I can't believe you are going" He says handing me a big folder and a wrapped box.
"I hope you don't mind but I buried our memory box, we can go back to it in a few years" he says climbing the steps to give me a hug.
He hugs me for about 5 seconds before we both pull away.
"Well I guess this is it for now" he says staring at me.
"Yeh, i'm going to miss you, but please revise for your GCSE's harry because without them you wont get far." I laugh ruffling his hair.
"Haha, okay sure." he says making me laugh a lot louder than expected.
his face draws serious as he looks away. "well cya"
I close the door not wanting to say anymore to him.
He places his hand on the window and I do the same on the reverse side.
he lets a chuckle escapes his lips before his hand slides off the glass.
"I will be here whenever you need me" he shouts as the van leaves the driveway.
I laugh and nod waving goodbye to him.
We both wave before our eyes get torn apart.
I refuse to look back as my uncle drives the Van and my parents drive the car.
I hug Casey as tears run like a river down my face.
