The next day my alarm went off at 6:30. It was Saturday and we had all weekend to get settled in.
I went to the shower room before I went down to the hall to collect some breakfast.
I got to the shower room and it was full of gorgeous skinny girls, I felt so odd. I was given the most strange looks.
After I had washed up I went into the canteen and grabbed a bread roll before walking out. I wasn't in the mood to sit by myself being in the loser social class, the girl who has yet to find friends and probably won't succeed. I kind of miss that girl who gave me my timetable, I don't even know her name but she was the closest I got to a friend in this place.
The day started drifting by slowly and honestly I hadn't done much, I put a quilt cover on my bed sheets, hung up a few pictures and set out all my books and stationary equipment for Monday.
It's 5pm and I decide to get my pyjamas on and pop my little kettle on and make a pot noodle, I'm not one to go and eat in the public canteen until I make friends.
I put a movie on and just relaxed for the rest of the night.
At about 11pm there was a loud knock at my door.
I ran over to it and opened it to see lot's of people running down the corridor laughing. I saw Bennett opposite me and we both looked confused. I grabbed my shoes and keys and headed outside. I didn't want to miss out.
"What's going on?" I ask Bennett who looks equally as confused.
He shrugs his shoulders before signalling for me to follow him.
There was so much going on it hurt my brain.
After a few minutes we were led to a hall, the one we had the started assembly in.
A girl in her onesie walks over to us, tripping over her own feet and slurring.
"University is about the party's" she says laughing and handing me a drink.
I instantly put it on the side.
I start to walk out before a strong arm grabs me and pulls me back.
"Where are you going sweetie, the party just started?" A gross young man spits at me.
Before I can try to escape Bennett pushes him back and pulls me away.
"Are you okay?" he asks me holding my arms.
"Of corse, why wouldn't I be?" I reply and he nods before walking back towards the dorms.
"Are you going back to bed, like now?" he asks.
I nod and start to walk towards my door.
"okay night" he says closing his door behind him.
It was late and I just wanted to get to sleep.
I got into my room and kicked off my shoes before turning the TV on. The music channel came on and it wasn't that bad of a music choice.
I listened to the music for about 10 minutes before a recognisable voice came on.
One Direction.
I sat on my bed and watched the whole music video. I had never done this before. I never even cared to look at pictures of him or google his relationships with other girls. It was hard to know that if I met him again if he would remember me to want to remember me.
