As Harry walked I made a u- turn mot wanting to disturb the meet and greet he was yet to hold with his family
I walked into the living room to see my mum talking to Gemma.
"Ohh Sarah, wasn't that sweet Of Harry" my mum says pulling me closer by my wrist.
I laugh before she hands me a drink and I hand it straight back.
"Do you not drink" Gemma asks. She was wearing Skinny jeans with a lovely lace shirt and ballet shoes. She looked stunning as her hair sat in ringlets.
"No, not if I can help it" I say before my mum interrupts.
"She's an 18 year old virgin who doesn't drink, smoke or have a boyfriend. When I was your age I was doing all of those. Apart from the virgin part, I lost that way before" she says. Oh my gosh she didn't just say that.
My mouth drops open as Gemma just stood and laughed
"You did not just say that, oh my Goodness" I said closing my eyes and rub my temples. This is why I keep my distance from my mother.
When I walk back into the corridor I see Harry talking to another girl out age. I didn't recognise her so I just tried to walk past before he saw me. His eyes trailed to mine as he called my name and I walked over.
"This is Sarah, Sarah this is Ruby" he says putting his hands in his pockets and leaning on the wall.
"Hi" I said, I could already feel the awkward occurring here.
"So you went to high school with Harry didn't you" She says smiling at me and I nod.
Harry butts in to make the pieces fit together.
"When you left Ruby joined, she took your place in class" he says and she nods.
I couldn't help but feel jealous of her.
He lets out a sigh as he grabs my wrist and pulls me through the crowd of people and out the back door. He shuts it lightly bot wanting to cause a scene before his phone begins to ring.
he moans before pulling it out of his pockets.
"Hello" he says, the annoyance obvious in his voice.
"Tommorow, But I just got here" he says pacing up the porch and I place myself onto the wooden fence the marks the end of the porch and the garden.
The outside light shines on his face as I see something on his hand.
As he's on the phone I take his other hand and pull his sleeve up, he totally ignores me as he listens to the person on the other end of the phone.
I see tattoos on his hands and I open my mouth before looking at him and he smirks.
I stand and wait until he has finished and he puts his phone back in his pocket.
"Who was that" I ask.
"Doesn't matter" he says "But I have to go back to London tomorrow"
"So what are you doing now Sar" He says before sitting down on the back porch and I join him.
Sar, I haven't had anyone call me Sar in a long time. Only Harry ever called me Sar and honestly I have missed it, I have missed it a lot.
"I have missed you" We both say at the same time before an awkward laugh evaporates into the air
"We'll I'm studying English at Uni and, stuff me. How did this happen" I say waving my hands in the air around him.
"You didn't see any of the X-Factors?" he says, the disappointment clear in his dark raspy voice.
I feel like crap. I didn't see any. My mum never told me because she new that I missed him and seeing him do that wasn't going to float my boat.
I look at the floor and he speaks again.
We were only out side for a couple on minutes before Ruby runs outside and interrupts.
"Come on Harry, your mum's blowing out the candles. It's cold come inside" She says dragging him by the hand and putting his arm around her neck. You could tell she wanted him badly, she made it physically obvious. I could picture them together and they would make a cute couple. I know I haven't really met her but she didn't seem trust worthy. The way she talked to me like she was looking down on me in her sarcastic tone. I new she was pleased I got my little arse out of Holmes Chapel so she could have the chance to butt in and be all snotty. The way she told me she took my place was obvious she wasn't just referring to class, it was in the friendship between me and Harry too.
When we got inside I stood towards the back obviously not wanted to follow Harry and his pet Rose. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Anne before everyone continued with the party.
About an hour passed where I was just stood wondering around the house by myself pointlessly. I hadn't seen Harry, Rose or Gemma in a while so I walked into the living room to find my mother.
"I'm going to get the train back to London, seen as you are out of it, completely and not capable of driving me back" I say waving my hand I front of her eyes.
"No my piglet, I will drive your virgin arse down there, just let me get a drink for the way" She says as she reaches for another drink. I roll my eyes before starting to walk out of the living area
"Anne, or even Robin. Robin you are sensible please will you let my mum sleep the night and take her keys so she doesn't go drink driving?" I say handing Robin the keys before he nods.
"Thank you, and thank you for a great party. It was lovely to see you again. I will definitely come down here another day. Tell harry I said goodbye and here's my number" I say handing her a slip of paper on with my number on it.
She leans in and gives me a kiss on the fore-head and holds my arms so I have no option other than to stare at her.
"Don't leave it this long again" She says before I nod and pull her into a hug.
I walk away before kissing my mum goodbye and going to walk out of the door.
I go to leave but I feel a big hand clasp around my arm. Harry is stood there and Ruby is on the stairs.
"Don't go" He says looking down at Ruby and she rolls her eyes.
"Harry if she wants to leave don't stop the poor girl" Says little miss perfect.
"I have classes, I have to go. I left my number with your mum and I will see you soon" I say.
He smiles and nods. "Be careful, do you want a lift back to your house?"
"I'm going back to London tonight Harry" I say.
"No chance" He says before running in the kitchen. I see him talk to his mum before running back out to me.
"Go on" he says signalling to the door.
"Your not driving me back. Stay here with your mum and Ruby" I say gritting my teeth.
"No way in hell am I risking you going back on the train to London at what, like 10pm, get in my car before I carry you" He demands.
"But Harry" I hear Ruby say.
"Ruby I have to go but text me and i'll see you soon" He says walking out of the door and pulling me with him.
