<Dangerous Woman - Ariana Grande>

The next week had flown by in a flash and before I knew it, my next therapy session was today.

"Come on Ron, we have to leave soon!" Vik stomped down the hallway towards my room. I was busy back-combing my hair at the roots a little, trying to make it stay in place. If I have to go to these stupid meetings, I might as well make myself look decent, no?

"Oh sorry, it's not my fault my hair decided to be flatter than your ass.." I grumbled causing my sister to shriek.

"Вы сука!" (You Bitch!) Her arms flailed in the air and a smirk lifted up the corner of my mouth. I looked at her in the mirror and finally turned around to face her, surrendering to my hair and huffing as it fall back into place. "Just leave it would you?We are gonna be late!" She stressed as I followed her down the stairs. I let my feet plod down the wooden stairs effortlessly, one by one until I reached the bottom, my Converse clicking as they met the floor.

"Bye Aunt Rose!" I yelled a goodbye to my guardian as my sister and I exited the house. Viktoriya copied my actions before we entered her car as monotonous as every Friday.

The radio filled the atmosphere with peaceful music as we journeyed towards the therapy building. Vik rambled on about how I need to listen more to the boring woman, and how her job is to help me.

One noticeable thing about Viktoriya is her over-exaggerated hand gestures. Always throwing her arms around making it seem like she is having a fit.

"I've been seeing different people for over 2 years now Vik, how do you not understand that it's not working?" My voice was clear as I spoke to my sister. Her hand moved to lower the volume of the radio a notch as we somewhat argued.

"Well you obviously aren't listening properly! They are professionals, they know what they are doing, Veronika." She pressured. I cringed at the use of my full name and breathed out slowly, not wanting her to shout at me again like last Friday.

"Без разницы" (Whatever.) I shook my head and un-clipped my seatbelt, ready to escape the lecture from my sister. "Bye." I slammed the car door and watched my sisters white, Ford Focus drive out of the parking lot.

The weather wasn't as cold as last week surprisingly. The sky was a bright blue although the chill was still in the air.

Once again, I had trudged my way to the double glass doors of the building. Pushing open the right sided door, I shivered when the warm air collided with my frozen face. A different employee worked the front desk today, an unfamiliar young girl with black curls flowing from her head. Maybe she was new. Poor girl.

"Good morning! Your name please?" She mused. Her light voice echoed through the room and her large smile brightened up the frosty Winter day.

"Uh, Veronika Volkov." I grinned back and watched her write down my name on the mundane, green paper I get given every week. Once I thanked her, I checked my phone and noticed I had actually gotten here earlier than expected.

"What the hell was she talking about? I'm not late." I muttered to myself, scrunching up the unnecessary paper into my jean pocket.

"Ronnie?" A friendly voice called. Looking up, I saw the familiar face of none other than Aleksandr. He gestured me over to the seat near him which I gladly took.

"So, you come here often then?" He asked. I smiled at his cheesy line and nodded.

"Unfortunately so. Every Friday for two whole years" I stated looking down at my hands. "Often enough for ya?" Aleks' eyebrows raised as he whistled slightly.

"Damn dude, that's commitment." He chuckled and I laughed along with him. His laugh bubbly, and enlightening my mood.

"Actually it's having a persistent sister who won't let me 'drink my life away'" I air quoted my sister's words with a sigh. Aleks nodded and slumped back into his seat.

"Yeah I get you. I have the same. Not a sister, but a friend who tells me the same thing." He shrugged. "What can I say? My relationship with my Vodka is better than that of other people." He laughed nearer the end, again causing me to giggle along.

It was uplifting to talk to Aleks. Surprising at the same time I guess you could say. I was completely bewildered how someone can relate so much to my problems yet, still achieve a funny and likeable personal.

"Time to go to our meeting" Aleks checked his phone and stood up. He stretched his back and pointed towards the door. I still sat in my seat, hands thrown into my pockets and the same nonchalant expression on my features.

"I'm not going." I announced. His face displayed nothing but confusion as he stared at me. "There's no point in going anymore, I just turn up to stop my sister from nagging me" His expression was completely clear now. It looks like someone had sucked all thoughts from his mind with a vacuum as he continued to stare at me blankly.

No words escaped his mouth as Aleks sat back down into his seat and smiled warmly at me. Now it was my turn to furrow my eyebrows.

"What are you doing?" I demanded. He simply shrugged and looked into my eyes with a childish smirk toying with his lips.

"What does it look like?" He answered my question with another question, his being rhetorical.

"Aleksandr, go to the meeting! They might be able to help you, they can't fix me, they've been trying for years" I urged him to go, retracting my left hand from my pocket and pointing down the hall. Aleks' head shook and he remained in his position. His feet were rested on the opposite set of chairs. Damn, he's got some long ass legs.

"If they can't fix you, then I will." He spoke softly but confidently. His words melted my heart, yet sent shivers down my spine. And it was incredible.
