Veronika attended her AA meetings more frequently without the hassle from her older sister. For once in her life, Veronika felt that those stupid meetings were actually worth something.

She was the happiest she had ever been, and it was all down to one person.

Visiting The Creature Office had become a ritual too. Each and every member loved Veronika for a different reason. Dexter's sarcasm was something that had grown upon her however. Slowly, Dexter had wormed his way into achieving the 'Best Friend' title from the Russian girl. Something she would never had even begun to think she would say again.

In fact, Veronika never believed she would acquire any friends due to her habit. She was wrong. Aleksandr had opened up her hope once more and gave her a friendship group to call her own.

Not only had Veronika's life changed for the better, but Aleksandr's had too.

Since asking Veronika to be his girlfriend and her accepting, things were looking up for the Vodka addicted Youtuber. Both he, and Veronika had managed to control their alcohol consumption. The beverage was no longer a fuel needed to drive their systems, but a treat for the couple.

Aleksandr's YouTube career had also began to sail along nicely. Making videos used to be his only escape from his messed up life. A simple profession where he could forget about his everlasting need for intoxication and pretend he was somebody else.

Now his motive was alternated.

It made him genuinely happy to produce his videos. Aleksandr takes Veronika to work with him, features her in some of his content. His lips grew wide as he was able to share his precious love with the world.

Viktoriya was proud of her younger twin. After denying that the two wouldn't work well together, she was pleasantly surprised.

Viktoriya apologised to Veronika about ever doubting their relationship. Her sister was happier than she could of ever imagined, and it brought a smile to Viktoriya's rosy lips.

After around 9 months of late night visits and sleepovers, the couple moved in together. Aleksandr and James' apartment was roomy enough for Veronika to move into comfortably. Of course, Zarya settled in easily also. Constantly teased by James' Corgi Ein, but equally settled in just fine. The two soon adopted a female dog named Mishka. A bundle of hyperactive energy which kept both Zarya and Ein entertained.

Aleksandr will never be able to repay his best friend for nagging him to go to that stupid AA meeting, and James reminds him that often.

Veronika was equally as grateful to her pushy twin, Viktoriya for never loosing hope in her sister. Aside from her Aunt Rose, Viktoriya was the only bystander who remained resilient. And Veronika was eternally grateful for that.
