"Good, because I want you to remember that even if I'm not with you. I'll always be there for you, no matter where or when. When you look at that star always know that ok," I smiled as she nodded and cuddled up closer to me as she softly fell asleep.
"I love you Lucy, never forget that."____________________________________________________________
Present...
3rd PersonLayla swiftly walked down the long fleet of stairs to come across her young blond daughter sulking waiting at the bottom of them. "What's the matter darling?" Layla asked as she slipped on her cloak, hung by the castle doors.
"Why do you have to go mama, please stay. I get lonely without you," Lucy wined as she sat on the floor with a thud, with tears forming in her brown eyes.
"I won't be long sweetie, I need to speak to Queen Zera so we can make everyone happy, and make peace. I'll be back before dark I promise, remember our conversation last night by the Sakura tree ok. I'll always be here," she threw Lucy a reassuring smile and kissed her forehead. Layla then turned to Jude, who was standing above Lucy, and muttered,"If something happens, you must avoid war at all costs, I don't want Lucy growing up with a war on the front door. And think of the Kingdom I'm sure they don't want a war either," Jude nodded and kissed her before Layla walked out the castle gates, putting her cloak hood up over her head hiding her face, whilst waving goodbye to her beloved family. Never to be seen alive again.Lucy's POV
I sat there on the floor where my Mother had left me, waiting for her return. The sun was beginning to set as the the brown leaves fell upon the cold ground, almost covering it like sprinkles on a cake."Daddy, where's mummy? She should be back by now," I questioned as he continued to pace around the large living room.
"I'm not sure sweetie but I'm sure she's alright and will be back soon," gently he patted my head and ordered the guards to send out a search party.Hours passed and the sun was no longer out leaving the moon to shatter the darkness along with the constellations and mummy's star. My Father had told me to go to bed after ordering the guards to search for my Mother, so I won't be tiered and I can be more energised in the morning for when Mummy is home. However, as I sat in my bed reading my favourite book my Mummy usually reads to me, I heard cries and screams coming from outside. I peered sneakily out of my window to see all the commotion. That's when I saw her. Her lifeless body before my eyes, laid out like an angel, she was on the back of a horse and cart that had just been brought out of the forest with my Farther holding her crying. From that very moment I knew nothing would ever be the same again.
