Suffocating. Hate. It's choking. When that happens, my hands weren't my own. I mean they were mine but, I wasn't the one in control. It's a terrifying feeling, to not have control of your own body. In the pit of my stomach I can feel the fear begin to rise. It feels like two cold hands are snaking there way around my throat. They're so cold but yet they gave the skin a burning sensation. It was so uncomfortable. I couldn't sit still, it seemed impossible. I felt like my body was filled with millions of bugs and worms, squirming about within me. I could feel my heartbeat quicken and my breaths become more rapid and shallow. I closed my eyes, wishing for it all to go away. I opened them quickly, realizing that I had the power to end my suffering. Was it possible to take any more of this? Was it time that I just give Zero what he wants? Is the end? How much farther can I get like this? Everyday is a constant torment. Every night it was the same torturous routine. The conversations always started and ended basically the same.

I ran out of the school, Jay beside me. Summer! It was finally the end of the year. At least I made it this far. We walked out of the hell-hole called school. "I can't believe the year went by so quickly." I said to Jay. I truly couldn't. At the time it felt like the year would never end but now looking back at it, it went by fairly quickly. "Do you want to come to my place?" I ask her. "Sure!" Jay responds. I couldn't help but smile. The weather was great, I had my best friend, and there was no more school for a few months. "I have guitar hero, wanna play?" I ask as we walk into my room. "Yessssssss!" She exclaimed. "Alrighty." I nodded, turning the gaming station on as well as the TV. I grabbed the guitar from the corner of the room and placed it on the bed. "Uh... Could I go first?" She asked, trying to contain a bit of excitement but also looking slightly nervous. "Of course!" I answered with a smile. When I was with Jay, I felt so much happier. My mind was busy and cleared when I had friends with me. I handed her the guitar and inserted the game disc. The game loaded and so it began, the competition between friends.

Hours had passed while playing games. It was great to be so carefree and not have to worry about whether you would make it to tomorrow or not. "I gotta go." Jay said a bit sadly. I placed the guitar back down as I finished my turn. "Oh alright." I nodded and turned the console off. "Thank you for having me." She smiled as she gathered her things together. "Anytime." I nodded as she walked out the door, closing it behind her. I flopped onto my bed, looking up at the ceiling. The afternoon sun shone through my window, casting a yellowish glow across my room. I reached my hand up to the ceiling and opened my hand, an open palm. "Thank you." I said quietly, closing my eyes.

"You're. Welcome."
