If you looked up the word 'bridezilla' in the dictionary I guarantee there would be a picture of Melissa underneath it. She'd been running around the house for the past hour, like an absolute mad woman, checking and double-checking that everything was going according to plan.

The wedding didn't even start for another hour, but Melissa hadn't managed to sit still for long enough so that Rey could do her hair, and we could all see that Rey was losing her patience.

"Mel, just take a breath and sit down." I smiled, catching Melissa's attention.

"Layla, I can't, there's still so much to do: the photographer isn't here yet, the flowers are all still sat in the kitchen, not all the chairs have been set out, the---"

"Mel." I chimed in, the tone of my voice letting her know she was slowly slipping into the territory of insane.

She took a deep breath before finally placing herself on the chair in front of Rey, who was gripping the curling wand like she was about to hit someone with it, and I didn't doubt she would if it came to that.

"Is she still freaking out?" Kelly shouted, as she walked down the hallway and into Melissa's room, Evette trailing at her heels.

"I am not freaking out!" Melissa practically screamed, causing us to all turn around and look at her. I widened my eyes at her in shock.

It was at that point that Melissa realised she was being crazy.

"Sorry." she breathed out, embarrassed by her outburst.

"Don't worry Mel, we've laid out all the flowers, the boys are dealing with the chairs and the photographer is here now, so everything is practically ready to go." said Evette, sitting herself down next to Melissa a giving her shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

I kissed Melissa's cheek before heading downstairs to see how everything was going, I knew Melissa wouldn't take Evette's word for it and need a second opinion, but found Will in the kitchen fumbling with his tie.

"You want some help with that?" I chuckled, before making my way over to him and trying to undo the mess he had created in knotting his tie around his neck.

I could feel him smiling at me as I looped his tie around and straightened it up before smoothing it down and patting his chest lightly.

"Thank you." he said, stealing a kiss from me and looping his arms around my waist.

"So, how's Tom doing?" I asked, tucking my hair behind my ears and noticing how tangled it was. I seriously needed to brush it before the ceremony.

"He is a nervous wreck." Will laughed.

"Well, so is Melissa, I guess that's what makes them perfect for each other." I replied, hearing a scream from Rey upstairs. She must have finally lost it with Melissa and her hair. "Is your speech almost done?" I asked, earning a groan from Will.

"No where near done, so far from done its practically non existent. You don't think it's possible that Tom will just forget about the whole 'best man speech' do you?" he asked.

"Not a chance." I smiled, kissing him before heading out of the kitchen doors and into the garden.

Everything looked beautiful set out for the wedding. I was so glad I'd managed to convince Melissa to ditch the idea of a peach and royal blue colour scheme; this one looked so much better, it was understated but elegant, just like Melissa, yet endearing whilst still charming, like Tom.

Dusky pink streamers lined the back porch, with silver ribbon tied around the back of each chair. The aisle had been lined with bouquets of pink roses and petals dotted the floor, whilst fairy lights hung from the wedding arch at the end of the aisle.

Everything was set. Now there was only the matter of actually getting Tom and Melissa married.

I took a deep breath and crossed my fingers, before heading back upstairs.

The ceremony had been beautiful, and everything had gone to plan. It was the first time all day that I had seen Melissa looking relaxed, as she sat next to Tom at their table down by the lake.

I was still up by the house; my heels were killing my feet so I was in the bedroom changing into my converse, when I heard a knock at the door.

It swung open to reveal Finn, grinning like an idiot.

"Finn!" I shouted, leaping at him and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Hey blondie!" he replied, swinging me in the air.

"You made it!" I said, tightening my hold around him.

"Of course, I couldn't miss Tom and Melissa's wedding! It was bad enough I missed the engagement!" he replied. I squeezed him even harder, so happy he was back.

"Layla ... struggling to get oxygen here." he wheezed, forcing me to let him go. I smiled at him, before noticing the look of angst starting to spread across his face.

"What's the matter?" I asked, pulling him into the room and making him sit at the bay window with me.

"I, um," he said fidgeting with his thumbs, "I need your help."
