Getting in the spirit (part 2)

Brian was still out with Zacky and if just finished putting up all the decking, I just had to decorate the untraditional black Christmas tree.

I turned on good charlotte through the tv surround sound speakers and danced along, swaying my hips to the music as I placed each decoration carefully.

Completely In my own world I hadn't noticed Brian, Zacky, Matt and Val had come In until I felt two hands in my hips.

'Hello beautiful!' Brian yelled spinning me around.

'Jeez Brian, give a girl a heart attack' I say.

'Sorry, you were just oblivious' he laughed.

I placed the two decorations in my hand on his ears.

'Your now ready for Christmas baby' I giggle kissing him gently.

'Hey guys what do you think, personally I think I pull it off well' Brian says turning to pose to the guys and Val.

'Stunning darling' Val laughed, as did we all.

'You've done a fucking amazing job in this place' Zacky says looking around at my work.

'Thanks Baker' I laugh. 'care to help me finish the tree guys?'

They all nod their heads and take a handful of decorations and start placing them on the tree.

We'd finished it, with lights and everything all we needed to do was put the Christmas deathbat on the top.

I stretched up but couldn't reach, when I felt hands in my waist and lift me up.

'Here you go baby' Brian's says.

I place it carefully on top completing the the tree. Brian placed me back down on the floor.

I step back so I was inline with everyone else. we all placed out arms round each other to take a look at the tree.

'This is going to be a good christmas!' I say smiling, still looking at the tree.

'Baby, it's out first Christmas together, it's defiantly going to be good. I have all I could ask for, a beautiful girlfriend, my best friends, the best family I could ask for' brains places a kiss on my forehead and we all go in for a group hug.

'Right, now or the booze!' Matt laughed pulling out the hug.

'Wait, Matt I was going to ask if you could take me to the mall quickly' I said.

'Of course, get dressed and I'll take you now' he smiled at me.

'While you do that, I'll make us some lunch, if that's alright with you Brian?' Val asked 'Zacky can help me'

'Yeah that's cool, everything you will need should be in the kitchen' Brian says walking through into the kitchen.

Zacky and Val follow him.

'Right ill change, i'll be down in about 15 minutes' I say to Matt.

'Okay, I'll just be in the kitchen doll' he walks of after Zacky and val.

I run upstairs to go get ready, I decided to have a quick shower. Turns out that was a bad idea. I stepped in under the hot shower and that burning, tingling sensation drowned my body as the water hit my cuts and scars.

I got out after 10 minutes and rough dried my hair, I got into three quarter length sweatpants (which were Brian's,) a pantera tank top and my Vengeance university hoodie. I grabbed my dc's and made my way down into the kitchen.

'Ready to go?' Matt says catching my eye.

'Yeah, let's go!' I say making my way to the front door.

Matt grabbed his keys and headed out to the car with me tagging along behind.

I jumped into the passenger seat as Matt did the drivers and we made our way to the mall.

'Lucie? what's those cuts on your legs?' he says pointing and looking then turning back to the road.

'That's kinda why I wanted you to take me to the mall Matt' I say pulling my sleeves over my hands. 'remember you Said you'd take me to the doctors?'

'Yes, I remember, what's happened?' He asks, very concerned.

'Well, when I found out about Brian I came home... and well... I cut myself' I whisper.

'Baby, why did you do that? why didn't you call me? I would of been straight over' Matt runs my arm.

'Because my head wasn't in straight, I didn't know what to do with myself. But please don't tell Brian, he doesn't know anything' I say.

'You're going to have to tell him sometime, you haven't exactly hidden your legs' he says.

'I know, I just thought the needed a. Little air to heal' I say gently stroking my hand down the scars.

'Well we will head to the doctors after we've got what you need from the mall' Matt gives me a smile. 'what did you need anyway?'

'Oh, presents, for you guys and Brian! I needed your opinion on what to get him, I want something special' I say smiling back.

'I can do that, I have a great idea in mind' he laughs as we pull up to the mall.
