"Umm?" she said.
"What?" I asked. I knew perfectly well it was about the dream.
"Nothing, I'm sure it was just a coincidence."
"Okay, well come on." It was 11:25 am.
"What? Where?"
"Breakfast. Downstairs. I already have a waffle cooking so we need to hurry." I had snuck down and set it up for her, while I just grabbed a snack, so she could eat alone and in peace. I could have ordered room service but this way was the way most people did it since it was free, and I wanted her to see me as a normal person.
She sat up and then gave me a look, I think she realized where she was.
"Oh my God." she said. Then she winced and put a hand to her head. "Woah."
"You doing alright there? I know you were pretty drunk last night." I said putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Wait. What?"
"You were drunk." I said slowly.
"I've never drank before."
"That explains it." Normally having a dream like I had gave her, to see what she was like with any influence, would refresh you. Meaning she wouldn't be hung over.
"Explains what?"
"It was just some wine, but since it was your first time..."
"Well we'd better get down there, the waffle is waiting." she said, smiling. Her smile was so beautiful, and enchanting. The world could crash around us, but if I was watching her smile, I would be the happiest person in the world and probably wouldn't even notice a thing.
I told her the plan as she ran my comb through her hair the mirror.
I would take the stairs and she would take the elevator. I would take my time while she went straight to the waffle and ate while I stalled the press in the lobby. When she was done she was to walk out and I would follow after a couple minutes. She was to walk to a cab I had called and specifically told to wait for about five minutes because two people were coming. When I went to the cab my bodyguards would hold off the press and allow me to sneak to the cab. As for the luggage all that was left was my backpack to keep my clothes, wallet, phone, etcetera.
Everything went smoothly, and in no time we were sitting side by side in the back the cab. Our performance last night was the last of the tour and today was a free day just to explore the town.
I had the whole day planned already. We pulled out of the parking lot and on to the street to head downtown, it was 11:50.
