Lost her...again

I hated every second of it. Lying to her, influencing her, it hurt, but I couldn't put her through all off that again. I just wanted to be with her as a normal person.
I watched her drift asleep in my arms as I carried her. I placed her down softly onto my bunk, and she looked reminiscent of a princess. Her hair spread on the pillow, and her faint smile that still hung on her face.
I could have sat there until she woke up but I had a show to put on.
I got out on stage, looking out at the crowd. I smiled at the memory of her being there last night. The smile never left as I thought of her the whole time.
Then came along the last song, and sure enough Y/N was standing on the side of the stage. Right in the corner of my eye.
It felt better than any of my preformances since my first one with Panic! At the Disco. I said goodnight to the crowd, then ran off and picked up Y/N in my arms and spun her around.
"Feeling better princess?" I asked, setting her down.
She gulped then nodded. "Yeah." Her eyes were troubled again.
  "No you're not what's wrong?"
  "It's-"
"Y/N! I- oh- um... Hi Brendon." Josh called, running up, rubbing the back of his neck.
"What he hell is going on?" I asked.
"Brendon," Josh started. "Just know it's all my fault, she did nothing wrong. I- I kissed her." I felt a fire all too familiar rise in me again.
"You did what?" I asked though gritted teeth.
"I like her okay? I was saying this to myself, and she woke up to hear me and- and I couldn't help it. I kissed her. Though it doesn't matter because all she kept saying was that she loved you, and I know how much you love her, I'm sorry."
I swung at him, but Y/N caught my fist before I could hit him.
   "Ow!" She winced.
"Oh god no, I'm so sorry, Y/N." I said, grabbing her hand and looking at it.
"I'm fine, it's my fault I stuck my hand there." Her hand, luckily, looked to be okay.
"You! How could you?" I yelled at Josh.
"Brendon! Brendon. It's okay." I looked down at Y/N. It was the first time she said my first name since everything Ryan did. "Brendon, everyone makes mistakes, and it doesn't matter, because I'm still yours." All the anger seemed to have melt away with her words. I stared into her blue eyes. I couldn't be mad when I had her.
"Okay. Okay." I said, and wrapped my arms around Y/N. "As long as you're mine."
   "I am."

Y/N drove home and I got onto the bus. We left tomorrow but if I wanted I could get a hotel as long as I got to where the bus was by at least a few hours before the show. I needed that time with Y/N.
I sat back in my bunk. I knew I either had to leave her, or ask her to come with me. I was having so many arguments in my head.
If I left she'd be safe from me. I hit her today. I know it was an accident but I shouldn't have tried to hit Josh. Plus what if something happens in the future, it's always going to be an accident, I would never intentionally hurt her, but I couldn't stand to see that look on her face again. Seeing her hurt today was the worst feeling the world, especially since I was the one who caused that.
On the other hand I loved her. It'd hurt to leave her, and it'd hurt her too.
But there was one thought that kept creeping up in the back of my mind and I couldn't shake. Ryan. He seemed so sure he'd win, and I don't think that was the full extent of his plan. I just had this gut feeling that he was just around the corner and I wouldn't see him. I'd lose Y/N forever. He'd make sure of it.
I fell asleep to three voices all contradicting in my head.

   "Y/N?"
"Hello?" her voice rang through the phone.
"Hey, you wanna go um maybe do something today?" I asked.
"Um...Sure...yeah." she sounded uneasy, like something was happening on the other side of the phone.
   "Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, fine." You suck at lying Y/N.
"Okay, meet me at the starbucks we met in. Does an hour sound okay?"
   I didn't get a response.
   "Y/N?"
"Oh..um yeah. See ya, Urie." Great she's back to calling me Urie.
   "Are you sure everything's okay?"
   "Yeah, great."
   "Okay. See you then, Y/N."
   "Bye."
I hung up. What the hell was that?

I sat at the table in front of Starbucks. I was a little early.
"Hey, Urie." I felt two arms wrap around behind me.
"Hey. Okay, before anything I need to know what was going on the other side of the that phone. You seemed distracted. Did I wake you?" I asked, as she took a seat in the chair on the other side of the table.
"No, no an old friend came to visit unexpectedly. I hadn't seen them since high school."
"Oh..." a gut feeling told me there was more, but I shook it off. "Well now that my curiosity can stop eating me alive, would you like to know what I had in mind for today?"
"Hmm. What would a rockstar plan for the day?" She dramatically said, tapping her finger on her chin.
   "Rockstar?"
   "Yeah. Something fun. Childlike?"
I laughed slightly. "Well define childlike, and would you like to do something childlike?"
"Something I'd want to do with my friends back when I was fifteen and worked part time at a donut shop to pay for these things, and to shop at Hot Topic."
I laughed at that last part.
   "And yes, I would."
"Then name some of these activities." I smiled.
"Hm...Going to the Arcade, Bowling, Laser Tag, Trampoline Park- oh I got it! Go Karting!"
I couldn't help but laugh again as her face lit up with excitement.
   "Go Karting it is."
Her face was identical to kid being told they were going to Disneyland. "Yay! Though..."
   "What?"
"I've never actually been Go Karting, my friends never wanted to." her smile gone, and she was looking at the ground.
I took a hand she had rested on the table. "Well, I have, and I'll teach you how."

We drove to a carting place a half hour away in Y/N's car.
I got out and opened the door for her, holding my hand out for her to take. She took it and immediately wrapped me up in a hug.
"What's this for?" I asked laughing slightly.
"Do I need a reason?" she asked in return.
"No I guess not." I said, wrapping my arms around her, hugging her back.
I decided to ask her now if she would come with me, so she could have time to think it over.
   "Y/N yo-"
Sirens interrupted me. I looked over to see two police cars pull up to us. Officers got out guns ready and pointed at us.
"Brendon Urie. Step away from the girl, put your hands behind your head and get down on the ground!" I looked to Y/N she looked absolutely terrified, and the worst part, of me. "Now!"
I let go of her and did as they said. Laying flat on my stomache on the ground. They immiediately were on top on me, putting handcuffs on my wrists.
They pulled me up and pushed me to the car. I heard them talking to Y/N.
"Mam I'm going to need to ask you a few questions."
"She's innocent, whatever I've done she doesn't even know!" I screamed as they ducked my head into the back of the car.
They slammed the door behind me and I was left to sit there for a few minutes. I stared at the back of the seat in front of me.
This is it. I've finally lost her.
An officer hopped into the front seat. I felt anger slowly rise, as he grabbed a notebook from the glove compartment.
"If you don't mind, before you leave  again," I couldn't even begin to stop the rude and bitter tone from flowing into my words, "could you tell me what exactly you're bringing me in for?"
   "Murder."
