The bell had just rang.
After a long and boring and dreary day of school, the best thing to do was have a cup of cappucino.
But some people had other things in mind.
"You slut! Come here!" Jody beckons me. Jody Afinase. She's a rich girl with power.
Her beauty doesn't matter. Which is good, because she lacks in it anyway.
Not physical beauty, mental beauty.
There was no ounce of pulchritude in her mind.
Jody had grey eyes, they were doe-like and enticing. They widened whenever she was impressed or sexually pleased.
She had brown hair.
I knew why she was picking on me.
She didn't have brown hair, it was a wig.
But only I knew that.
"Stop being such a hypocrite, Jody. You've fucked tons of guys. I'm surprised you haven't died of STD yet," I say to her.
Her face twists in outrage, "how dare you! You're too poor to answer back, I could destroy you in a heartbeat." She says.
She's only doing this to remind me of her power.
"And I will," she snarls, "Boys!"
She calls them and a group of jocks come in.
I was glad Judah wasn't there.
One holds my neck; not straningling, just keeping it still. All of them attach to my limbs, paralysing me.
Two of them are left.
One kicks my stomach, leaving me brutally injured. The other punches my face, bruising my eye.
I look over to Jody to watch her reaction to my torture.
Through the thick blood, I can see her eyes watering and that she's frowning.
She was the girl I slept with.

Getting back into my regular schedule.
To everyone reading, this book is slow af. I'm not talking about the updates, I'm talking about the movement in the story.
I'm sorry, firstly, for not picking up the pace. However, the love interest has practically nothing to do with the character, so I must find and dig for a way to mash them together without making it a cliché.
Okay, now that's done, thanks for reading!
