Chapter 11: A Little Break

Paul and Patryk were settling into the basement. Edd and Tom helped them with mattresses and getting their room set up. '' They were actually nice to us. '' Patryk said, sitting down on his mattress. '' Well, why wouldn't they be? '' Paul asked. '' No offense, but Tord wasn't always the nicest person. '' Patryk said, looking up at Paul. '' I guess that's right. '' Paul said, agreeing. Someone was running down the stairs. And soon after, the door burst open. '' HI PAUL, HI PAT! '' Celestial said, and then crashed against the wall. '' Your too energetic for your own good.  '' Paul said, sitting down onto Patryk's mattress. '' Edd wanted me to come down here and tell you guys that Edd and Tom are taking a break for now and that you guys can come upstairs for some drinks. '' Celestial said, peeling herself from off the wall. '' Okay. Thanks for telling us. '' Patryk said, laying back on his bed. Celestial ran back upstairs as fast as she came down. The basement door flew closed. '' You going upstairs? '' Patryk asked Paul. '' Nah. Not now, at least. '' Paul said, laying back next to Patryk. '' About that wedding, Paul... '' Patryk said. Paul's eyes narrowed. He knew what Patryk was gonna say next. '' I don't even know why I asked. I guess we can't really have it now since.... you know. '' Paul said, and sighed. '' We can have it eventually. Just not now because of the situation we're in. '' Patryk said, in a positive tone. '' Now I'm remembering why I proposed to you. '' Paul said, smirking. '' Paul! '' Patryk exclaimed and burst into laughter. Paul sighed again, happily and got up. '' Okay, you. Let's go upstairs. '' Paul said, and let out a hand to help Patryk up off the bed. The two walked up the basement stairs and into the kitchen.
