The first night Athena spent with Tord, was the time Athena joined the Red Army. Not specifically a member, but an ally. She was trusted. Athena was happy with Tord. But then, she found out about the truth of the Red Army. Athena, disgusted, ran off back home with her parents and Edd. Three years later Edd moved away. Her parents were more abusive than ever. Athena's father was almost always drunk and her mother smoked a lot of illegal drugs. She had no choice to move in with Edd.
'' Nice to meet you, Athena. '' Tord said, leaving a hand out for Athena to shake. '' You too. '' Athena said with a look disbelief. Edd took Athena into another room, and she unpacked her bags. Celestial rushed down because she knew something was going on. '' Shh. '' Tord said, staying back from where Athena was. '' What is it, Red Leader? '' Celestial said out loud, causing Athena to hear it. '' Oh. You have GOT to be kidding me. Why do I still have to hear some of this Red Leader bull? Red Leader, this. Red Leader, That. Is that all THEY call you? '' Athena said, rolling her eyes. '' It's a symbol of respect! Something you don't have, obviously. '' Tord said, picking Celestial up and stroking her hair. '' Don't talk to her like that, either. '' Tord said, staring Athena straight in the eyes. '' What is she gonna do? Scratch me? '' Athena said, walking off.
