I was with Lucas in the mall, when he looked at me. "Alex, can I tell you something?"

"Sure" I nodded.

"I've liked you since the first day, when I bumped you, I knew that I liked you... and I don't know if you feel the same, but I just can't keep it in my heart" he looked down.

"Normally, boys do that... but ok" I put my two fingers on his chin, and made him look at me. "Lucas, don't you ever feel nervous when you're telling a girl that you like her, and if you're scared.. just tell her, girls understand"

"Loren" Caleb glared at mom. "Who is your boyfriend? When can I meet him? Please tell me it's not Charlie, cause if it's Charlie, you're in big trouble!"

"No, he's not Charlie, Charlie is my friend.. you already met him" I shrugged.

"Mom, do you hate Ashton?" I asked mom, she looked up.

"Why all of a sudden?" Mom furrowed her eyebrows.

"I haven't talked to him for a long long time, but I don't hate him"

"What about Luke?" I regret saying his name!

"Why are you asking me those questions?!" My mom yelled at me.

"Mom, I'm just asking!"

"I hate him! I hate him, ok?" She yelled again.

"EMMA! Don't yell at Alex!" Dad walked in with some food on his hands.

"She's asking me some weird questions"

"So what? Can't you talk to her quietly?"

"Luke..." I looked down.

"Luke as your mom's ex?"

"Yeah, I was just asking if she hates him.." tears filled my eyes.

"Let's go upstairs, Alex.." Caleb held my hand, dragging me out of the kitchen.
