I was sleeping when I heard someone throwing rocks at my window, I opened my eyes in horror. I walked towards the window, opened it, I saw Alex. Wait, ALEX?

"Alex, its 2 in the morning! What are you doing here?!" My eyes went wide.

"First, help me" she crossed her arms, she was crying.

"You know you can use the front door, right?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Won't I wake your parents up?" She put her hands on her hips.

"You don't know?" (Did I ever talked about Charlie's parents?)

"I don't know what?" She scrunched up her eyebrows.

"I'll open the door for you" I rolled my eyes, walking downstairs.

She looked calm, so let's hope for something good.

I opened the door for her, she was standing there, with her arms crossed.

"Weird" I mumbled, "do you want a drink?"

"Do you want to talk about your parents?" She bit her lip, did I mentioned that I hated when she bites her lip, it turns me on.

"Come in" she walked in, closed the door behind her. "Sit"

"I want to, but it's ok if you don't want to tell me" She shrugged, that reminded me of when we went to the lake, when Caleb found us.

"No, it's ok... when I was 4, they started fighting.. but they would get through it" my voice cracked. "When they got Nicola, they fought a lot.. more than before..."

"But it's better, I need to tell someone" i looked up, closing my eyes, don't cry, Charlie. "When Nicola turned 1 and a half, mom found out that she was pregnant with Zach, she told my father, my father went crazy, he just wanted a kid.. they fought every night, they decided to abort Zach.. when it was time to abort, they changed their minds, they kept him, because they knew that they loved their baby" i took a breath, "they didn't fight a lot but if they did, it was for the stupidest reason. When Zach was 4, mom found out that she was pregnant with Vanessa... when she was 7 months pregnant, she found out... that dad was cheating on her"

"What the-" her eyes went wide.

"I don't know how but she forgave him, when Vanessa turned 2, mom found out that she was pregnant with Brock" she bit her lip, "she got him, he was healthy and all, but she killed herself by cutting her arm.."

"I'm sorry, Charlie" she hugged me.

"My dad went crazy, he loved her, he needed her... so he killed himself, now I'm the one who takes care of them"

"But you're 17..."

"My aunt lives here, but she went to visit her family yesterday, she's coming back tomorrow"

"Oh"

"So, not to be rude or anything.. why did you come?" I asked her, I really want an answer.

"When I found out that you played me, my heart was broken into pieces.." She looked down, "I didn't want to believe that you would SO such a thing"

"I'm sorry, but I-" she cut me off.

"Sorry won't cut it, Charlie"

"Let me explain, please" i begged.

"Explain what?" Alex stood up, "I came here to tell you that I needed you"

"And I need you, Alex, you make me a great person and I want to be great again"

"Charlie, if you needed me, you wouldn't have bet on me!" Alex yelled.

"Then let me explain why I bet on you"

"Fine" she crossed her arms.

"Sit, please"
