[Episode 1] Falling Into Vanguard
“If I were in the show, my name would be Kaori Yamazaki.”
The fifteen year old nodded her head, looking down at the cards of her Kagerö deck, before tucking them away in her pocket and beaming at her five companions.
“Yeah, you mentioned that before.” Cyrus nodded, to which the girl smirked.
“What was it you said your name would be?”
“Eh, I think I said Kazuya Yuto.” He replied, to which she nodded her head, before turning to the other four boys.
“What about you guys? What would your names be?”
“I wouldn’t know.” Sean shrugged, to which Devin nodded his head in agreement.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t know where to begin trying to think of a name.” Devin smirked, before Bridget turned to look expectantly at Aiden and Hayden.
“I have no clue, and Aiden doesn't play Vanguard as much, so, we don’t know either.” Hayden spoke for both of them, to which Aiden nodded in agreement.
“I’ll think of names for you guys,” Bridget smiled, stepping out onto the highway crosswalk with the others, before the squealing of tires met the teenagers’ ears. “Watch out!”

“The stars are amazing, aren’t they?”
Aichi glanced at Kai as he questioned it, but, the brown haired boy didn’t even open his eyes to acknowledge the blue haired boy as he rested against the tree.
Not taking it to heart, Aichi turned back to glance up at the sky, while the others in their group, Skin, Misaki, Kamui, Miwa, Morikawa and Izaki.
“They are, Aichi, we picked a perfect night to come practice at the park.” Skin agreed, nodding his head as he cardfought against Morikawa, who was, as usual, losing.
“Yeah, well, mister perfect over there could care less.” Morikawa grumbled, and Kai, acknowledging that Morikawa was taking about him, opened one eye to glare at Morikawa, who immediately turned away.
“Hey, what’s what?” Kamui frowned, looking up at the sky, gaining everyone’s attention, even Kai, who looked up lazily, before blinking as he caught sight of what the others were staring at.
It was a bright light that was glowing in the sky high above them, and it seemed to be falling from the sky right at where they were sitting.
“I don’t know what it is, but, I think we’d better move back.” Shin warned, and, nodding, the kids moved back just as whatever it was, smashed to the ground in the center of the trees they were sitting near in the park.
After the dust cleared, the watchers approached to see what had crashed, and saw that it was a group of unknown teenagers, five boys and a girl.
They were all unconscious, and looked rather roughed up.
“Who... are they?” Kamui questioned lightly, and Shin shrugged his shoulders as Kai approached the one girl, kneeling down near her and picking up a pair of thin rimmed glasses that he assumed belonged to her.
Reaching out, he touched her shoulder and shook her lightly.
“Hey, are you alright?” He questioned, though, his done was dull, as usual, but, the girl stirred lightly and raised her head, brushing her brunette hair out of her eyes and looking around, blinking lightly.
“Ugh... yeah, I think so... where’re my glasses...?”
In response, Kai held out the glasses to the girl, who blinked and took them gratefully from him, replacing them on her face before turning to face Kai, blinking at him before her blue/green eyes widened in shock.
