**Five Days Later**
Jessie's POV
The last five days have been good, I think. Harry hasn't snapped at me or showed any signs of doing it, but I knew that none of us should relax. His demon side -what I decided to officially name his dominate alter ego- was obviously lying in wait to make himself known. The thought of that scared me, and that fear grew each and every moment I spent with Harry. Despite the horrible things that happened in the past week, we've grown close, but I wasn't sure what to call our relationship. Sometimes, most of the time it would be to make him shut up or to get rid of that ridiculous pout on his face, we would kiss. And each time we did I felt something. Something that would cause my heart to race and my cheek to flush. However, all those sensations and feelings would fade away the moment I remembered that his four friends were looking at me. As each day grew on the more they stared and watched me. Maybe they were beginning to realize that whatever I had planned was foolish? I wasn't sure.
One of the best achievements I had done over the past five days was convincing the boys to move Harry back into the house. However, it didn't take as much convincing as I had previously assumed, and I knew instantly that they were probably just tired of being out in the rain all the time. They never complained because they trying to look out for their friend's best interest, but we all knew that it was better to be inside. Well, all of us, but Harry.
Harry took more than a little convincing. He was nearly dragged back to the house, or so I was told. I wasn't allowed to be there whenever he was untapped from the chair or even whenever they brought him into the house. I had to stand in Harry's room and wait for them to restrain him once again. The two hours it took for them to do both of those were enough to nearly make me want to pull my hair out as my attachment for Harry was shinning through. I'd spent nearly every waking second with him for the past five days.
"Jessie, wait." Louis said with a sigh as I began to make my way down the stairs to see Harry.
My heart tightened slightly and I bit my lip as I looked at him. "Louis, can this wait? I want to make sure that-"
"He's fine, Jessie." He curtly responded with an irritated look in his eye.
I sighed quietly and slowly sat down on the mattress. The pillows on the bed were laid on one side of the bed because it made me feel as if another person was settled beside me. "Louis, why are you acting like this?"
He rolled his eyes and walked over to me without taking the place beside me like he usually would. Not only had I grown closer to Harry, but I'd developed a friendship with almost every one of them. There was only one that resisted any attempts I had made toward a conversation, and you needn't guess which one. Liam's distaste for me seemed to only grow instead of fade over the past few days.
"Jessie, I think the better question is why are you acting like this?" Louis responded to my question.
I frowned a bit. One of my biggest annoyances was whenever someone would answer my question with another question. This annoyance hadn't been as bad whenever I first arrived here, but it seemed to have grown quite a lot. "Acting like what? All I wanted to do was speak to Harry and make sure he was settling in here. If you recall, it took a lot of convincing to get him here." I crossed my arms.
He narrowed his eyes at me, and I wished that I could see what seemed to be eating at him. His demeanor hadn't slightly changed around me in a way that made it look like he was very protective over me. It wasn't as if he had a crush on me, that was a ridiculous thought, but more like in an older brother way. I knew instantly that reason was because of the fact that his sister was taken from him. "You..you're always wanting to be around Harry. I know that you've grown attached to him and I'm glad that said attachment is only doing good things in helping him fight that evil side of his, but..you can't spend every waking moment with him."
