CHAPTER 9

Alexie's Point of View

NAGTUNGO ako sa kusina ng nakaramdam ako ng gutom. I was craving for some sweets as to why I got an Idea what I'll gonna cook.

While contemplating on how to cook cookies again, I suddenly remembered my date with Dale. It was a bit off, hindi ko pa rin alam kung anong mararamdaman ko with all the fame I accumulated these fast few days after we've been showy of our so fake relationship.

Binaliwala ko na lamang ang pag iisip mula sa mga bagay bagay dahil naiirita lamang ako, weekend ngayon ka'ya dapat pinapahinga ko ang sarili patungkol sa school, well there's this one thing I should be resting about, my school works, indeed.

Tatlong araw na rin at umalis na ulit si Daddy, he can't stay here for a longer days, he's up to work and has a full and hectic schedule, hindi pa rin ako sanay na wala ang Daddy, pero kailangan naming tanggapin ang klase nang trabaho n'ya.

On my way to the kitchen, I saw Axel playing video games comfortably on the big flat tv screen, si Ate ay busy sa kanyang maybe paper works sa table n'ya. She's physically here but her presence aren't.

Nakarating na ako sa kitchen at nagsimula na akong kumuha ng mga necessities for baking a cookies, I started to find somethings on the cupboard, I was happy seeing the baking tools complete, tho it's fine if it isn't but gladly it is. I just read a cook book earlier.

Nagsisimula na akong paghalu haluin ang dry ingredients then the wet next. It took me approximately four minutes and thirty minutes overall. I started to shape the dough.

"Gagawa ka pala ng cookies, hija. Hindi ka nagsabi sa akin para matulungan kita."

"Okay lang po, yaya. I can naman po."

"Sige at ako na lamang ang maglilinis ng kalat."

Napatingin ako sa kalat sa counter kung saan ako nag prepare, well I was a bit messy preparing, but I hope I didn't messed up my cookies.

I just waited a few minutes the dough were starting to get mounted a bit then became flat a seconds. Nakatayo lamang at naka pamewang habang hinihintay ang luto ko.

Kinuha ko na ang cookies na medyo umuusok pa mula sa oven, well the surface wasn't that bad, surely the taste as well.

Matapos kong maisaayos ang pag distribute sa plate ng cookies ay atat na akong tikman ang isa, I smiled when my verdic is in my favor.

"Yaya, tikman n'yo po itong luto ko." nakangiting sabi ko kay yaya habang naglilinis nang mga kalat ko.

"Hmm! Hindi na masama para sa pangalawang beses na nakakapag bake."

I felt the success about yaya's reactions, she even asked for more, I was happy.

Kinuha ko na ang glass bowl na naglalaman ng cookies at nagtungo sa living room, hindi naman ako madamot para sarilihin lamang ang pagkaing niluto ko, I could be more happier if ate and Axel would love these.

Pagtungo ko kung saan sila nakapirmi ay niyaya ko na silang kumain, ate was at first hesitant if she's gonna take a bit of the cookies since she was too preoccupied of her papers.

"Since when did you learned making these delicious cookies?" the satisfaction were lingering on ate's face as well as Axel's. I couldn't be more happier.
