Alexie's Point of View

''You should wear something stylish. Tonight's your day.'' Ate said with excitement, pauwi pa lamang s'ya ngayong gabi.

I'm excited for our family dinner date later tonight, two days ago after announcing the scores of the midterm examination. ''I'm fine with just simple attire, ate.''

''Nope, ako na ang bahala. You'll surely like what I have brought for you naman. You're going to college with highest grades and so you deserve some fancy dresses.'' I smiled, my sister never really forgot some stuffs for me.

''Okay, thank you. See you.'' We bid our goodbyes.

It's Saturday today, so we decided to celebrate my another milestone before step into college two semesters to go.

Ipinagdarasal ko na sana ay kumpleto kaming lima mamaya sa aming family dinner which often happens due to my sister, and parent's hectic schedules.

Kasalukuyan akong nagsi-siesta sa balcony sa second floor, I was in my slippers, shorts and simple v-neck t-shirt. Tinatanaw ko ang Maganda at malawak na garden sa ground floor. My younger brother is playing with our cats.

''Axel, where's Lily?'' I asked him from balcony, napansin kong kulang silang dalawa ng isa which is Lily, my pure white cat.

''I don't know.'' He answered and shrugged his shoulders off. Bigla akong nag-alala at nilibot ng tingin ang paligid. I found her sneaking at the gate. Mabilis akong tumakbo para bumaba, ngunit pag lingon ko sa bintana ay wala na ito sa gate dahil tuluyan ng nakalabas.

I suddenly got panicked. She's just ten months old.

Hindi ko na alintana ang dalawang guards sa guard house at dali dali nang lumabas, nilibot kong muli ng tingin ang paligid.

Until I saw someone carrying Lily in his arms while playing with its paws.

''Hello, little creature.'' He said with those soft voice.

''Lily!'' I scream with relief, mabilis akong lumapit at kinuha ang pusa ko.

''So, you're the fur mom.''

''Yes, Dale. Thanks!''

Nag-aalala akong niyakap ang aking pusa.

''Huwag na huwag mong hahayaan ulit si Lily, she's fragile to be here outside.'' Medyo kalmadong ani Dale.

''I know, ngayon lang ito nangyari.'' Medyo nag-aalala pa rin ang aking boses.

''Ohh! Hi, Kuya Dale.''

I got shocked when Axel knew who Dale was, I mean! How did he know Dale.

May dalawang guards sa likod ni Axel at nakatingin sa akin, hindi ko namalayan na sinundan pala nila ako sa sobrang pag-aalala.

''Hello there, Axel.'' Dale said and waved his hands, while smiling.

''Hello!'' Axel answered, joyfully.

Napakagat ko ang aking labi at na-curious kung saan silang dalawa nagkakilala. ''Would you like to go inside? Medyo mainit dito sa labas.'' Nag-aalangang pag-aaya ko sa kanya.
