Words Do Hurt

I sit here wondering if it's even worth trying,

Each word you say rips me apart.

You say you rather have a lonely life,

Make's me think do you even care about me?

I wish you listen to me at times,

I wish you stop putting pain in me.

You don't know how many times I wanna cry,

How I wanna just leave to find a hole.

Call me normal and I could never understand you,

As is I get called names for being with you.

I stand up for you and you don't even know it,

I just wish you stop saying you want no one in your life.

I love you so much, you don't even know,

Your words only make me think of death.

Make me wanna just die in a hole,

And I write to let the pain out.

But you seem to not understand it,

You can't see the pain within the words.

Now it's clear to me that you have lots to learn,

Do you love me when you have those thoughts that ripe my heart out of me.

This is an old poem I wrote when things were going down hill in my relationship. But things are a lot better now and I hope they stay that way
