That evening, when Pete returns from Gabe's place, he checks his phone for texts.
There's a few, but none from Mikey, which is slightly disappointing. His head fuzzy with Mikey and thinking about hanging out with Gabe and-

Pete tosses his phone onto the bed, promising to reply to Brendon later, as soon as he has a chance to clear his head out. You'd think someone who's set a field on fire and kidnapped people to start clubs would be used to having eventful days, but all Pete can think about is Mikey and Gabe and Frank, and honestly, this is not good for his health.
Text me, Pete thinks, like his thought will somehow find it's way to Mikey. Text me text me kiss me text me kiss me...
And he did, almost. So close. Then Gabe called and Pete doesn't want to say he ruined it, but how else would you describe it? An inappropriate intrusion?
His phone chimes again, twice, and Pete practically lunges for it. It's nothing but notifications from the group chat. Frank's just been added, and Pete snorts at his username (Frankenweenie? Seriously?) He scrolls through a few of the latest texts.
