Rose looked to Jaiden. "What? Did you do something bad to me? What's this strange robot walking about, babe?" His eyes widened and a blush creeped over his cheeks. Sinine was fuming, steam nearly blew out of his ears.

"I-I'm not your babe, Rose. You're just... malfunctioning. I'll fix this. It's okay, Sinine. It'll just... take a couple days." Sinine backed Jaiden up onto the wall of the dimly lit basement, jabbing his steel finger into his chest.

"If you don't get her brain working properly, I'll gut you like the animal you are." He hissed angrily. Jaiden nodded, knowing he was already on bad terms with Sinine for giving him life in the first place.

"She'll be fine, Sin, I promise." Jaiden said with a small, reassuring smile. The flora looked to the bickering males curiously, but her gaze was locked on the taller of the two. She couldn't help but notice his striking violet eyes, his silken teal hair, the way his nose crinkled when he smiled. He was gorgeous in her eyes. Just then, the android rushed over to her.

"Everything will be alright soon, Rose, I promise it'll be okay. Please stay strong for me," he said, searching for any sign of fear in her eyes. She remained calm, but shied away from his touch.

"I-I'm sorry I've worried you so much, maybe I'm being too much of a burden. I can go, if you'd like?" She replied somberly, already getting up to leave. Jaiden was already preoccupied, researching organic materials and trying to piece together a spell to restore her memories properly. Sinine panicked, but didn't do anything as she sadly walked away, quite nervous as she had never gone outside of the basement, nor had she ever been alone.

-

She found her way to a floral field, each inch of grass filled with one type of flower or another. It was almost a safe haven for her. She felt very comfortable around other flowers, especially those of her species, which were plentiful in said field. She was sat in the center of a peculiar ring of roses, tears brimming her pastel pink eyes as she spoke with a wavering voice.

"I never meant to hurt the poor robot man... I just woke up, and whatever I remembered, I said. I guess I remembered wrong. I hope I didn't upset them too much, Jaiden seemed so mad at me." She stayed silent, as if listening to the flowers' input on her predicament. Nodding solemnly, she sighed. "I guess you're right."

Sinine had followed her, not trusting the naive flora to be out in the world on her own. As she got up and turned around, she jumped, gasping sharply as she noticed the silver and blue android behind her. "S-Sir?!" she questioned nervously.

He sighed. "My name's Sinine, Rose. I didn't trust you out here on your own. Sorry I followed you secretly, I didn't want to scare you." Rose nodded in understanding, holding out her hand for his once more.

"I sincerely apologize for forgetting you- if that's what I did, of course. I had no clue." She said happily. He smiled softly and took her hand, coming to terms with the fact that he'd probably have to repair their old relationship. All his affection for her had to be pushed down, until- or if- Jaiden repairs her memories.

Following their return to the safety of Jaiden's basement, the duo sat on the sofa to watch T.V. Sinine had his arm around Rose's shoulder affectionately, though she only saw it as platonic. It hurt, but he acted as if it didn't phase him or his stoic nature. He figured this would go on for a few days so he decided he'd have to get used to it eventually.

-

Rose smiled as she once again obliviously cuddled with Sinine. He was struggling to hold in his growing affection, and had turned to anger to let it out, getting frustrated easily at everything that was mildly inconvenient. The only end to his constant anger was Rose's smile, her melodic laugh, her silken hair, and the faint scent of roses she carried with her.

Sinine sighed as he flipped through the channels, finding that every single one was on a commercial break. Angrily, he flung the remote across the room.

"Can I not spend time with my Rose without being interrupted?" he grumbled frustratedly. The flora caressed his cheek gently, having caught on with his safe haven from his anger bouts. He sighed, immediately calming down slightly, but noticed she had sighed as well. "What's wrong, Rose?"

"Well, I," she began hesitantly. "I wish Jaiden would call me his. I wish he would run his fingers through my hair and cuddle with me." came out her response. Sinine's eyes widened and he grew extremely embarrassed.

"Excuse me," he blurted out before moving to the other side of the room. He dialed Jaiden quickly, and he immediately responded.

"Something wrong, Sin?"

"She's fantasizing. About you two. Together. Fucking FIX HER ALREADY" he angrily replied. Jaiden laughed softly.

"You know, the only reason she's doing that is because her memories of you were replaced with me. She likes you. If I had read up a bit more, she'd be fantasizing about you." Sinine froze, realizing what he said was true. Almost all of her thoughts and feelings for Jaiden were truly about him. With a hasty goodbye, he hung up and returned to his position with Rose.

-

Jaiden burst into the door after he returned home from school.

"I found it! I got it! Sin, grab Rose, I'll fix her up right here and now!" He called out happily. Sinine shot up quickly, obviously extremely excited to have his old Rose back. Rose looked up to Jaiden happily, a small spark of love in her eyes. Sinine's jealousy flared, but he tamed the flame as he knew this would be the last time he saw her looking that way at anyone but him.

"You're gonna fix me? Oh good! I don't like it when you two are sad," she said happily. Jaiden pulled her aside and cast the spell, and Rose blinked quickly, confused and in a slight daze. Sinine crouched down slightly to be at eye level with her, searching her eyes for any sense of recognition. She smiled at him, that familiar spark of love now directed towards him.

He picked her up by the waist and spun her around happily, and she giggled softly at the feeling.

"So, you're back?" he asked hopefully. Rose smiled and nodded, looking down nervously. "What's wrong? Do I have to gut Jaiden?" Sinine questioned.

"No, no! That won't be necessary... I just..." she paused.

"You just what?" the android nervously pried. Then, the one thing he never thought would happen, happened.

Rose took hold of one of the straps of his tank top, pulling him down to her height to plant a soft, tender kiss to his lips.
