Bailey
After Rose and Lily went to sleep, Deliah started her reign of terror. She gagged my mouth and dragged me to the attic, by my hair. My scalp felt like someone had lit a fireplace on it. Strangely enough, my scars would never last very long. The longest was maybe three weeks, and it would fade away. She grabbed the metal pole from its usual spot, and began wacking my sides with it. She did this for about five minutes before giving up, ungagging me, and going downstairs.

I hiccuped before spilling out my sobs. I silently cried there for an hour before I started to dry heave. So, I got up and went to place my mat down. I slept on a mat with two thin blankets in a dark dusty old attic. Life is going great for me.

I wake up to a bright sunlight shining in my face. The sun was always my alarm clock these days. I got up and went to the bathroom to see the damage. When I lift up the shirt, I see a huge bruise on my side that was a mix of red and purple. I slowly take a towel, wet it, and dab the worst areas of the bruise. Then, I washed my self using a bucket and sponge. After wrapping the bruise in a bandage, I slowly put on a raggedy brown dress and my wooden shoes.

I went downstairs to make the girls breakfast, eggs with bread. After tying my long brown hair in a bun, I cracked four eggs and put it in a bowl. Then, I added peppers, mushrooms, and cheese to eggs. I sprinkle a dash of salt before putting them on the hot pan with melted butter. While the eggs are cooking, I take the bread from the ice box. I slice it into thick piece and place it on another hot pan. I flip the eggs and flip the bread. Twenty minutes later, their food is done and served.

Rose and Lily come down first to eat their breakfast. Deliah comes down shortly after them and they devour their breakfast. Lily kept muttering about the ball to Deliah who was stuffing her face with eggs. Rose was sitting quietly eating her eggs. I was eating my eggs and bread on the staircase as usual. Deliah said that she didn't have any delivers for me.

Peter
I hid in the bushes and look at the castle doors. Sedrick swings out of them and walks to the caravan, muttering nonsense. I sigh when it rolls away. I hate being a prince. But most of all, I hate lying to Bailey. She's so beautiful and kind, but she might exploit me to the public one day. I can't take that chance. I slowly walk down the dirt path to Bailey, when the caravan stops me.

"Prince Peter!" Sedrick screams, "In now!" I sigh and climb in as it rolls back to castle.

I can't see Bailey today.
