Ashlyn
Day Before Wedding

The whole royal family packed up, with about six carriages in all. Me and Lily were in one carriage, my parents in the other, and Rose and Aaron in the last. The rest were packed with my items and my wedding and coronation dresses. I looked at the castle for the last time before the procession drove away. We drove through the square and I watched as the townspeople held up signs wishing me luck as I went to Amster. I smiled at their kindness and waved.

When we finally got to Amster, it was later at night. Peter and Mia greeted us. Mia ran up and hugged my legs, and I giggled at her contact. I glanced at the Amster castle, my new home. It was made with stone and dark green roofs. It seemed ginormous since last time I was there. Peter gave me a large hug. Some guards carried my stuff inside.

"They'll be taking most of your clothes to our new room. You'll be sleeping in the guest room. Rose, Lily, Aaron and your Majestys will be in their own rooms," Peter explains. I nod and Peter leads me away. We walk through to their ballroom. I gasp.

It was golden with shiny marble floors. The chandeliers were silver with beautiful candles. There were about a thousand chairs set up for the many guests we would have. The guest list included my parents, Rose and Aaron, Amelia and William, Mia, all the nobles of all the kingdoms, Lily and Jonathan, and some other royals, and reporters. Everyone else would hear from the reporters and newspapers.

The altar was beautiful. There was a large white arch with golden, white, creme, and light pink roses. The aisle was a large stretch of white fabric. I smiled, "Everything looks beautiful."

Peter smiles, "Only the best for you, my love." I blush. Then it was time for dinner. There was fillet mignon, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and fruit cake for dessert. After dinner, I went straight to bed. I wanted the night to go by faster so I could hurry and get married to the love of my life.

Day of Wedding

I wake up and immediately the team starts to get us ready. There was a small tray of tea, biscuits, and some fruit. They undress me and run my bath as I have the tray. The bath was lovely, with lavender smelling oils, ginger, lemon, honey, and perfectly warm water. After they were done with my bath, my hair was washed with a coconut cinnamon scrub. It smelled heavenly. They then put lotion on me before giving me a simple white dress and flats. My hair was tied up in a bun.

I walk down to breakfast which was tea, fruit, pancakes, and cinnamon rolls. All the girls were at breakfast, including Amelia who had arrived in Amster late last night. She looked so happy as she played with her ring. Rose looked content as she played with her belly. Lily looked overjoyed since she had seen Jonathan the day before and they spent the entire time talking until late at night.

After breakfast, we were rushed to the dressing room. After putting lotion again and spraying me with multiple perfumes, they did my hair. It was left flowing down, with large diva curls. Mia came late and was put into her flower girl dress. She was going to be throwing gold, white, and creme roses. Finally, they put on the dress.

I felt like an angel in my dress

I felt like an angel in my dress. It was off white with a lot of lace, and a beautiful veil. My makeup was simple with dark matte red lipstick and my hair was let down at my shoulders. My bouquet was the same off white color as my dress. It looked so beautiful all put together. Amelia has tears in her eyes and looked as if she was going to cry.

"That's my sister.." She whispered.

Then Father came and linked my arm. The other girls walked out, "Are you ready?"

I nod, "Ready as I'll ever be."

The bridesmaids walked linked in the arms of their groomsmen. Peter stood at the end of the altar, smiling broadly. He couldn't wait to see his bride. Then, the wedding march started to play and the doors open.

The crowd gasped. Ashlyn was breathtaking in her gown. Her blue eyes lit up the entire ballroom and she walked slowly to Peter. Her father gave her away, and found his spot with her mother. Ashlyn climbed up the steps and locked eyes with Peter.

The ceremony was short and sweet. Soon, it was time for the vows.

Peter started, "My dearest Ashlyn. I've looked at you almost everyday, whether in person or images that play in my dreams at night. Ever since we were foolish kids running around the fields, you've always caught my eye. I've loved every moment with you. My joy, my love, my angel, my Ashlyn. I love you forever more."

Ashlyn smiles brightly, "My dearest Peter. Everyday is a new beginning to a chapter in our lives. I have loved you since we were little, running around the countryside. You have been here for me through all the woes and struggles in my life," Ashlyn's voice cracks slightly, "And I am so thankful that you are here with me. Through all my errors and faults, you've never stopped loving me and being with me for a second. My savior, my king, my true love, my one and only, my Peter. I love you forever more."

The priest hands the rings and they place it on each other's fingers. "I know pronounce you, man and wife. Let the coronation begin!"

Trumpets sounded and Peter and Ashlyn were told to kneel. A procession walked into the ballroom. There were four people holding a pillow with Peter's jeweled crown and another group behind them with his robe. Peter was told to stand up and turn to face the priest. The priest takes the crown and does a prayer over it, before placing it on Peter's head. The group with the robe held it up behind were Peter was now standing. Ashlyn got up and took her place before the priest. Her procession came with the same amount of people as Peter's. The priest takes her jeweled crown, speaks a prayer, and places it on her head. Her group stands behind her.

The priest claps, "Now! Ashlyn and Peter, will you both solemnly swear to protect Amster from evil. To be a light to its people, bringing joy and love to its corners. Providing for your children and making sure our people never go hungry. Sacrificing time and energy for the betterment of them. Do you swear it?"

The couple stands tall and yells, "We swear to every bone in our bodies!" The people put on each of their robes. Ashlyn turned to Peter who smiles at her.

"It is my honor to crown thee King Peter and Queen Ashlyn of Amster and it's commonwealths!" The priest announces. The audience stands and claps, cheering for their new king and queen.

The priest smiles, "Now, to seal your promises and marriage, you may kiss her majesty." Peter turns to Ashlyn, cups her face and kisses her. Ashlyn melts into the kiss. The crowd erupts in cheers and start throwing flowers and beads in the air. The priest hands Peter his golden scepter. "May I be the first to introduce the new royal family of Amster! God save the king and queen!"

"God save the king and queen!" The crowd cheers. Peter and Ashlyn walk out, holding each other's hands. They finally make it out of the ballroom, but turn to walk up the stairs. The royal couple is escorted to the balcony door. The guards open the doors. Ashlyn and Peter step on the balcony to see thousands of Amsterians cheering and shouting 'God save the king and queen!'

Peter turns to Ashlyn, tears in his eyes, "I love you, Ashlyn."

She smiles, tears flowing down, "I love you more, Peter." They share a passionate kiss and the crowd continues to cheer and celebrate their marriage.

"God save the king and queen!"

AHHH!! They've finally gotten married. I know it's been a while and this has been heavily anticipated!!! I know ever since I started writing I've been waiting for this moment. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
