Ashlyn
I woke up to a bright light in my face. I groaned and sat up. There were a bunch of people wearing uniforms staring at me. A lady reached her hand out to pet my hair so I let out a yelp and crawled under my bed covers."Now, now princess. There is so need to be afraid," a voice said. I looked up to see a middle aged man with his gray hair slicked back staring at me. He had dark brown eyes and wore black glasses to the tip of his nose.
"Who are you? And who are they?" I say.
He chuckles, "I am Johnathan. I am the king's royal advisor. These are the morning crew. They help you get ready in the morning."
"I can get dressed by my self," I reply.
He chuckles, "Princess. Let us serve you. Now, chop chop! I'll be back in an hour."
Some of the crew examined my body as they sent others to the bathroom and my closet. They escorted me to the bathroom and took off my dress. Sitting there was a tub filled with lukewarm water with rose petals. They put me in the tub and scrubbed dirt off my body. They brought another bucket with water and washed my hair. Soon, they pulled me out of the tub and brought in a razor. The shaved my legs, arms, underarms, knees, back and elbows. A lady dried me off with a gold towel that was on a rack. They led me to a sink, where they brushed my teeth. After rinsing my mouth, they led me to a seat. A man opened a box with tweezers and started plucking my eyebrows. Another lady wiped under my eyes with a wet towelette.
Soon, three more ladies came with a dress brace, a pink dress, and a thin silk underdress. The pink dress was beautiful with little sparkles on it. They slipped the underdress on me, then added the brace before tightening it. They covered me with the dress and sat me in the chair. The designer brought a brush and placed my hair in a nice bun after putting some makeup on my face. Then, they sat a small tiara on my head. They slipped on my heels and took me to the mirror. I gasped at my reflection, "Wow."
I looked so elegant and refined, but I had a slice of flair. My hair was shiny as a smile radiated off my face. Jonathan came and nodded, "What do you think, princess?"
"It's lovely. Everything I would ever want," I turned to the crew, "Thank you." They all smile and nod, before they left the room.
Jonathan turned to me, "It's time for breakfast. Follow me." He walks out the room, and I follow him. This is the first time I had a good look at the castle hallways. The walls were painted rose-gold and the floors were oak wood. The roof was peach, with a few golden chandeliers hanging down. On the walls, lamps stood, shining dimly. My heels made a clacking sound as I walked against the floor. I wasn't used to walking in heels and wearing these kind of dresses. I guess I would learn those things from Amelia and Queen.. Oops, I mean Mother. I was going to have to get used to that, too.
Jonathan led me to a room with a long wood table filled with plates and eating utensils. Sitting at the head was my father, the left side consisted of my siblings, mother, Rose, and Lily. The right side had Peter, William, and John. I sat on the right side next to Peter.
"You look beautiful Ashlyn," Peter whispered.
I blushed, "Thank you." Soon, the food came out. Breakfast consisted of four pancakes, bacon, two SunnySide up eggs, slices of a kiwi, and a strawberry. I took my utensils and gracefully ate my food. The others followed and we continued eating.
"So, Prince Peter, when are you going back to become the army commander?" Father asked.
Peter looked at him, "Well, King Edward, I haven't decided yet on when I will go. It is certain that I will return, of course, seeing as the Amsterian army needs me now that King Tyson passed."
Mother shakes her head, "Your father was a lovely man, Peter. Very courageous."
I take Peter's hand and he nods, "Thank you, Queen Victoria."
"On to lighter topics," Amelia bubbles, "Ashlyn, have you ever played tennis?"
I shook my head, "No."
Amelia smiles, "Well, Mother and Father challenged me to a game. Do you want to play?"
I nod, "Sure."

After about two hours of playing tennis, we decided to wish the boys off. I stood with Peter on the castle steps, and give him a big hug.
"Do you have to go?" I ask.
He nods, "Sorry. I would love to stay and stare into these beautiful blue eyes.."
I blushed, "And I would love to continue staring into your emerald of eyes."
His cheeks went red and a man in a green suit comes up to us, "Prince. The carriage will be leaving shortly."
Peter nods and looks at me. I gaze into his eyes, and he pecks my cheek.
"Goodbye Ashlyn," he says.
I smile, "Goodbye Peter."
