I walked though the hospital, and quickened my pace to get to my Aunt Laura's room. I've only ever been to visit with Christina. I was old enough to come and visit her, but a part of me didn't want to. She was just there, but she wasn't.

I stopped in front of her room,

"Come on Kelsey, she's just your aunt." I think to myself. Maybe if I mentally prepare myself for this, I can get though it.

Alright, take the step. Let's go. Do it.

"I can't." I said lowly, oh boy, I was gonna be here a while.

---

"I just need one little thing from you, before you give me your powers." She instructed, and she held out her hand in front of me.

"What else do you want?" I was cripplingly weak, and my throat was dry. I sounded like an old cigarette smoker.

"Something that smells like teen spirit." She cackled at me, and started to hum the tune to herself. How did she have time to listen to Nirvana? She's trying to take over the world!

---

"Kelsey's talking to her aunt, about her powers. She'll call if she gets something." Faye flashed her phone in her hands to her friends.

She sat on the couch with Jax, while Ben and Barbra were in front of them working on some new locator spell.

"So, do you ever wan tot seal the deal with Babs?" Faye whispered to Jax, and the boy went into a blushing frenzy.

"No! Faye shut up. She's right there." He hastily whispered back, and he was right. Barbra was listening, but she had to be focused. "What about you and Ben?"

"I'm gonna do as you said, and shut up." She shot him a glare, and went back to looking at the two witches in front of her.

"Okay." Jax smiled in response, but this no doubt started something in him. What if there's not a right time to tell Barbra about his huge crush on her? What if it's too late? "What about a deal?"

"How so, Mr.Clementine? Does it involve money?" Faye was excited to say the least, about the money part of the so called 'deal'

"If I tell Barbra, you tell Ben. All or nothing, and if it's nothing, we got each other." He was saying the words, watching the duo work in front of them.

"Okay Jax. Deal." Faye stuck ou there hand and he took it and shake it hard. "Your gonna break my arm!"

Jax only laughed at this, while Faye played it off as if she was hurt. Ben saw this and smiled, while Barbra was steady on the task at hand. Find a way to find Kara.

"Ma'am, I saw you sitting her for twenty minutes, do you want a water?" A nurse came up to me with a paper cup in his hands. Hospital water. Yuck?

"Sure." I smiled and grabbed the water out his hands and brought it down in one gulp.

"Woah there speedy, something troubling you?" He took a seat next to me and took the now dry cup out of my hands.

"If I tell you can you, like not freak out?" I asked him and he nodded his head. "I'm part of the coven, that's supposed to fight the old witch who's putting this town in danger. And I came to ask my aunt for anything that would help me in that cause. But she's brain dead, and I'm stuck. In this chair."

"Like glued to the chair? I can get some scissors and some new pants-" Oh crap, he was nice nurse. And he didn't even seem that off about the whole coven part. I hope he doesn't give me a pep talk.

"No, I mean, mentally, emotionally. Stuck." As I said this, he flashed me a smile- he knew what I was saying! Wow, I really hope I don't get a pep talk.

"So, all your saying is you need a little push?" He asked me and this time I nodded.

He then proceeded to get out of his seat, and drag my whole chair inside my aunt's room. What if she was sleeping? Could she sleep? Or was it all just one big sleep mode?

He dragged the chair all the way next to the bedside of my aunt.

"Do what you gotta do kid, I won't drag you again." He stated and then just up and left the room.

I shifted in my seat, and brought my legs up on the seat. Maybe I just wan't ready. Am I supposed to be? My mother is gone, so is my father. Why do they just get to leave when they feel like it and when they're over it?

It's not fair to Laura.

Or me.

"I'm sorry, aunt Laura. I don't visit as much. Sorry. I keep say-" I let out a sigh, why me? Why must this happen to me?

No response. Obviously.

"There's this old witch, and she's come to take someone's powers. And we need to fight her, and I need you help. Everyone is doing what they can, but I'm not doing anything." I knew I was on the brim of tears, but I won't let it get to that point.

"Just, I need something. Anything. I know I'm not Kara and I'm not the one she's after, but I want to help. I need to help." I slowly get out of the dragged chair and stand above her.

"I know, you can't move and you can't tell me what to do, but please give me anything. Anything." A quick tear fell from my eye, and I swiped it off my cheek. Be strong.

I latched onto her hand, and just look out the window.

"You can see the dome from here, you can see it form everywhere. I feel powerless, I feel small. I feel-" I tingle in my hand sent my eyes wide. Laura?

I looked down at my hand in hers, she wasn't moving but she was, she was like glowing? Her veins, were a light yellow, like the sun. She was-

The bright yellow traveling though her veins were going up into mine. I could see it on the inside of my wrist. Glowing, energy flowing though and though. It wasn't like a big feeling, it was like hope.

Hope was running though my veins.
