Mallory's POV

I had been crying in the bath tub. After telling him, I couldn't hold my tears in, and with the fact that I was sharing a bedroom with Anna, I had to hide.

Suddenly, the door was cracked open. It closed almost immediately. The lights remained off, but the shadow of someone could be seen.

"Mallory?"

It was Louis.

I sniffled, trying to keep the snot from running down my nose. "Louis?"

Suddenly, he was climbing in the bath tub, his face inches from mine. He had a sad smile on his lips and tears in his eyes. He didn't seem pitiful, but like he just wanted to make me happy again.

Louis POV

"Louis?"

I had come to cheer her up. I knew I had to. Maybe she was an ugly cryer, but somehow, it was still beautiful. The thought of her smile, caused by me, after she cried made me happy.

"I'm here, Mallory. I'm here," I said. I was there for her, and I always would be. No matter what, I would always be there for her.

She continued to cry in my arms. It was comforting for me to know that I could be there for her.

"And I won't ever leave."
