"Are you okay? Are you sure that you want to do this? I'm pretty sure they will ask about you and Lay." My manager asked me worriedly.

I looked at him and my lips curved into a warm smile. "It's okay." I said as I tapped on his shoulder. "It's not something that I can avoid either."

"I'll see you later then, manager oppa." I bid a goodbye to him and walks toward the shooting set.

"Omo, she's so pretty!" A fan girl whispered to her friend. She then giggled together with her friend.

So, at least my fans are still exist even after I disappeared for freaking two years.

"Everything ready?" The director asked us.

I looked beside me. Lay sat beside me with a really calm expression. It's as if he never knew me at all. Like I'm total stranger. How I wish I was like him.

I nod my head as an agreement to start the live show. Lay did the same.

"Wow, so today we have the most popular K-Pop group, EXO Lay and yeah of course! Our country's angel, Song Nana. Welcome to our show." The emcee said excitedly.

I smiled. I was doing this for the sake of getting back all of my fans again. I was doing this for my career. That was it.

"So, firstly, how are you Nana? It's been a long time since all of us ever saw you. What have you been doing for those two years?" She asked me bravely.

I can feel Lay's eye staring at me. I took a deep breath and exhaled. I smiled at her and said, "Of course, I'm fine." I laughed awkwardly. I bet people knew that was a fake laugh as well.

Damn.

"I just thought that I needed a rest at that time because my health wasn't really good at that time. So, I took a rest for almost two years and yeah, here am I again."

"Can I know what type of health problem did you have?" She asked again.

This aunt, she really knew how to dig someone's secret. I smiled. I didn't answer her question at all.

"Oh yeah, I read an article regarding dating scandal. It's about both of you. It was a really hot topic before Nana disappeared and everything resolved like dust. So what do you think about this, Lay-ssi?"

Lay smiled. His dimple was seen when he smiled. A angle-smile-like. I refrained myself from rolling my eyes.

"Maybe it's because of our great visual but, I think it's funny because both of us haven't seen each other for a long time. Of course we don't have any special kind of relationship other than just a colleague."

He said calmly. I wondered how he kept that kind of personality. He really tried not to act like he knew me. I felt like I was invisble.

I didn't know why but I almost tears up at the thought that he never asked me anything at all. Probaly I had his child before which was why I was very sensitive whenever there was something related to him. The worst of all, he acted like he never knew me. That was sucks.

"Wow, but I thought you were the one screamed out her name on the street which caused a hot scandal back then. Am I right?" She chuckled.

Only if I can throw chopstick right straight into her throat so that she can shut the fuck up. I looked at Lay nervously. I clamped my mouth as I don't know what to answer to that kind of question. God, help me.

"That.." Lay paused. "Was something that the public shouldn't know. We, as celebrities, also want our privacy. For me, this is one of my privacy and I hope you will understand it." He smiled as soon as he finished talking.

The emcee keep nodding her head as she listened to Lay. "It means that both of you did have something back then?" She asked again.

Instead of answering, he just kept smiling. A safe action to do in unavoidable situation. I took a deep breath with the uncomfortable question. The MC shouldn't ask that. It wasn't even in the script.

After we were done with the shooting. I walked away quickly as I didn't even want to greet Lay at all. I wanted to avoid him at all cost. However, suddenly, he grabbed my hand. "Needed a rest? Bullshit." He said.

My eyes widened as he suddenly said that on my face. Why would he said that? "What do you want? Let me go." I asked irritatedly. I really didn't want to talk to him but he was grabbing my wrist tightly.

"Where have you been?"

Oh, so he did care about me. I rolled my eyes, annoyed. "Let me go!" I said harshly and walked away before he could grabbed my hand again.

He sighed deeply. "At least, hear me out!" He screamed at me. "Don't you think we need to talk? Stop acting like a child will you?"

I didn't even bother to turn my head to look at him. Please life, don't do this to me. I thought I was ready but definitely not.

"Nana!" He called out my name again.

I walked as quickly as I can to avoid him but, he still can grabbed my hand. He then held both of my shoulder; facing him.

"Nana," He said, softly.

I looked up and stared at him with a cold stare. I bit my lips to prevent my tears from coming out from my eyes.

"Don't do that. It might hurt you, Nana." He put his fingers on my lips. He caressed my lips and looked into my eyes.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you since that night. I looked for you everywhere. I went to your company and they said you were not there. I didn't know where is your house. Your phone number. You manager's name or number as well."

He explained to me one by one. I stood there, staring at him. I didn't know what to say or even what to do with this sudden attention from him.

"Why are you explaining this to me, Mr Zhang YiXing?" I asked. There it goes; my ego speaking for me.

He was quite startled with my question. He didn't hold my shoulder anymore. He just looked at me.

"We both, agreed, that we don't know each other. We're strangers. Remember?" I tied up my hair as I spoke to him.

Lay didn't say anything. He just smiled and walked away. There it goes again; him walking away from me and not trying hard enough to listen to me.I closed my eyes for a few seconds to calm myself. I exhaled harshly. I opened my eyes back and walked straight to my car.

It was okay, Nana. That was nothing. Just forget him and everything will be fine. You will be fine.

Lay

I was still shocked with what Nana said. I didn't expect her to be that cold. I didn't even expect that I spoke that way to a girl. EXO Lay never back down on girls. Not now and not somewhere in the future. This, will never, ever happen again.

Fuck!

I took my phone and searched for Nana's number. I got her number from my manager's help. Well, let's not talk about how my manager got it.

Don't be an egoistic person, Lay! Please don't do this to yourself. Text her. Chase her. Don't let ego controls you. My inner self said to me. I sighed and type a message to Nana.

To: Song Nana

Let's meet up.
