"Ouch, that hurts!" I was whining when she kept on dabbing something to clean the blood on my lips.
"Yah! Stop whining. It's annoying." She said, without looking at me. She was focused on the wound on my lips.
I kept quiet until she finished everything that she was doing. I scanned her face. She was pouting when she focused on something and that was damn cute.
"Alright, done. We have to go now. We have been gone for quite some time." She pressed her finger on my lips softly while the other hand was busy putting all the stuff back in the first aid kit.
"Ouch!" I yelped in pain.
Fuck, that hurts!
She turned to look at me and giggled but then she sighed. She looked sorry and I didn't know why would she felt that way.
"Don't be sorry. We are men. We deal things that way. Especially to get a piece of perfection." I smiled at her and caressed her arms.
She still didn't say anything. She was smilling; a hurtful smile. She looked down and I can hear her sniffing.
"Hey, are you okay? Don't cry." I laughed so that she won't cry again. I tried to cheer her up by laughing. I knew it was stupid to do that when someone cried, but only God knew I only did this to her.
She stared at me and smiled. "Don't be a bad guy. You should just hug me instead of telling me to stop."
We stared at each other and we burst into laughter. It was interesting because the more I get to know her, the more I became interested in her. Her arrogant appearance was totally opposite of her character. She was actually a very sweet, warm woman.
After 26 years living in this world, I can proudly said that this was the first time I fell hard for a woman I barely knew about.
"I'm curious about something. Can I ask you a question?"
She rolled her eyes annoyingly and said, "You already asked a question, ugly."
I baffled when she called me ugly. She knew that I was too far from being ugly. She was playing hard to get and yes, it was really hard to get her attention on me.
"What? Just ask. Don't be too formal."
I smiled at her. "Is Lay really your boyfriend?"
She chuckled loudly which shocked me. I didn't expect that kind of reaction from her. I kept quiet until she started to answer my quetstion.
"He's not." She paused. "We were never involved in any kind of romantic relationship. If there is something like that, Lay will be the one who crave for it, not me." She answered calmly.
I can't read her face expression. She was really calm in answering everything. It was really hard to even guess what was she thinking about. Sometimes, she was really grumpy and emotional. Some other time, she will be really kind and cheerful. She was really hard to read unlike other girls.
