"Are you okay? Looks like your pets died or something." Suho said to me as he patted my back. He sat on the couch in front of me as he sipped his coffee.
"Maybe yes, maybe not. Ah, I don't know." I shrugged harshly.
Suho chuckled. "That's why I'm asking you, Yixing. Don't play a fool with me. I've known you for years."
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat before I spoke again. I didn't know how to tell Suho. I was full of uncertainty. I didn't know what to do.
Suho patted my lap and smiled. "Just tell me. I won't judge." He laughed. "I know it's about Nana isn't it? This must have been the biggest trouble you've ever face but, chill man."
"I know she still love me. I could clearly see it in her but I don't why she keep insisting that she isn't." I said in one breath.
"Holy shit." Suho's eyes widened as he looked at me, shocked. "You have a fiancee, Lay! Why are you thinking about your brother's girlfriend?"
Suho looked at me. I can't read his real thoughts but for sure, he knew I've messed up real bad this time. I didn't know what got into me but I really can't let her go without settling the unfinished business.
"We broke off the engagement already." I rubbed my face roughly with my palm. Was I doing the right thing? I think yes, I can't be someone who I was not in love with for the rest of my life.
"I think you're crazy, YiXing. You go and settle things with her." Suho told me frustratedly. He must be frustrated with my decision but it was my life and this should be my choice.
"Bro, I really don't want you to have any fight with Sehun. We literally grew up together through thick and thin. The last thing I want to happen is for us to fight with one another. Don't make stupid decision, I won't forgive you for that." Suho tapped my back few times to console me.
I looked at Suho, wanting to cry real bad but I held it in. This was my fault so I have to face it. Hence, I have to know what Nana think about this problem.
"I don't know, man. I don't fucking know." I admitted. Yes, I was lost right now. Fucking lost.
"Just try to do what I told you just now, alright. I'm sure Sehun will try to understand you."
I only nodded my head before I leaned my back against the couch and closed my eyes. Let's rest now, Lay.
