                                                                              CHAPTER 6

"So turns out, wer're gonna have to share the suite with Caleb and all". Marlene returned and explained to me after yelling at the tour guide. "Don't worry. We'll just have to ignore Aaron and Caleb. Everyone else is nice". I responded sweetly, trying to calm her down. "Well c'mon then. We can't stay here the whole day. Better go and choose a bedroom quickly". Marlene said hurriedly before rushing off to the suite that was booked for our stay.

The suite was consisted of 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom had 1 bunk bed with 1 single bed while the other two bedrooms had 1 double beds in each. Marlene and I quickly chose the bedroom with a double bed that looked out on to the snowy moutains of Switzerland.

We settled into the bedroom by unpacking our clothes and moving things around a bit to give it a homely and cozy feel.

Approximately 5 minutes later, the party freaks walked in laughing loudly and giggling. Just as Caleb cracked a horrible joke Marlene groaned and flopped on to the bed burying her head under her pillow. In an attempt to block them out.

Linera Parker - Aaron's twin sister - stumbled in to the bedroom, slightly bend over with a beer bottle in her hand. She giggled drunkedly and stumbled out of the bedroom. Continuously misplacing her footing.

An exasperated sigh escaped my lips as I walked out of the bedroom to go to the bathroom to get changed into my pajamas.

Aaron stumbled in front of me clumsily. "Hey there scholar what's it like in Switzerland?I'm a few steps away. But tonight girl you look so pretty. Times Square can't shine as bright as you, I swear it's true. Hey thre Scholar don't you worry about the distance, I'm right there if you get lonely give this song another listen. Close your eyes, listen to my voice. It's my disguise. I'm by your side". Aaron sang, improvisng a new version of Hey There Delilah.

Ryan quickly came to my aid gripping Aaron and turning him to the other direction. "Sorry about him, he uh kinda had a bit too much". Ryan apologised grimacing. Aaron walked off into the direction he was guided into and started singing loudly. "Lately I've been I've been losing sleep! Dreaming about the things that we could be! But baby I've been I've been praying hard, said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars".

"Just wear ear muffs to bed. It might help". Ryan advised.

"Uh thanks". I gave a small smile before walking off into the bathroom. I quickly got changed and rushed back to my bedroom and crashed into bed.

"And I told about Equality! And it's true! Either you're wrong or you're right!". Someone sang obnoxiously.

My eyes fluttered close just to see the sun's light shining through the curtains. 'Where are my ear muffs?', I thought. I looked around and found them scattered on the floor. I ran a hand through my hair and walked out of my bedroom to see what all the racket was about.

"But if you're thinking about my baby. It don't matter if you're black or white!!!!". Aaron and Caleb sang dancing around on the couches of the living room.

Great. Just great.

Before I could help it a groan escaped my mouth and everyone's attention was diverted to me.

Well shit.

"Oh hi scholar. Looks like your up". Aaron said jumping off the couch and walking over to me.

"Glad you noticed". I remarked back.

"No need -". Aaron started but was interrupted by a heavy animalistic groan from behind. We all swivelled our heads around to see Marlene exiting our bedroom crawling on the floor with her hair all over the place.

"Oh wow". Linera spoke in shock before cracking up an laughing while Ryan tried to surpress a smile.

Caleb raised an eyebrow while Aaron crinkled his nose and Aariana fell onto the couch laughing.

"Looks like you had a good night sleep". Caleb said dryly and smirked.

"Off course. Who wouldn't with you two dumb fucks singing like Rebecca Black on steroids". Marlene insulted.

"Ouch. Marly. That hurts". Caleb mocked.

Fire blazed up in Marlene's eyes at the mention of the nickname. "Don't. You. Dare. Call. Me. That". She gritted out harshly.

The venom and coldness in her voice made me cringe back.

Marlene stalked off into the bathroom and slammed the door shut just as silence wrapped out the atmosphere.

"Well, I'll be in my bedroom. If anyone needs me". Ryan choked out awkwardly before twadling off into his room.

Slowing everyone left leaving me there staring at the bathroom door. Why had Marlene reacted that way? I knew she hated Caleb but wow.

Everyone knew something. Something I didn't know.
