2004 - St Patricks Train
Students on the train to go back to their respective homes.
End of school year.
Lily had never hated being born so much before. What was wrong with her? Was she out of her mind? Ugh. Why had she downed shots like glasses of Pepsi?
Just as she had stopped talking to that jerk faced Aaron, she gone back into the wild party. For some reason, she had downed shots like crazy. All of a sudden angry at Aaron's behaviour. Why was she so affected by it? His behaviour wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
She had learned a lesson. Never drink alcohol again. She had done the most stupidest thing ever. She sucked face with Kyle, the sports prefect.
Finding an empty compartment about halfway down the train, Marlene rambled on about the upcoming summer and their future. Opening clinics blah blah blah. Her future. The last thing she had wanted to talk about.
She would go to College (University) study Medicine, graduate, and become a successful doctor. There you go. That's all.
No travel around the world. No fall in love. No time for that. Her mother had made it perfectly clear that "for now" all she had to, was study.
Lily leaned her head against the cool glass window, shutting her eyes, praying that her hangover head ache would soon stop.
She heard the compartment door slide open and when Lily peeked an eye open, she groaned instantly at the sight of Aaron and co.
"Good morning". Ryan greeted with a sigh, clearing not wanting to be hovering in their doorway. "How is everybody feeling this fine morning?". Caleb asked a cheeky grin plastered on his face directing it to Lily the most.
Lily glared at him. "If you came in here to remind me how I got drunk last night for the first time, then leave before you find your self without any limbs".
"What? I was just asking how every one was feeling? Why so sassy?". He whined innocently, the grin growing.
"Don't make me hit you with my bag, which happens to be loaded with books".
"I'm assuming that's the code for 'I have a hangover'". He grinned.
"What's the code for get out ". Lily retorted.
Ryan chimed in. "There isn't one. Caleb doesn't leave until he finds a good reason to".
"Caleb. Just get out". Lily urged.
"Why so rude this morning?". Caleb said ignoring Lily.
"Black. Just stop being a pain and leave". Marlene interrupted stepping up.
"Make me". Caleb smirked.
Marlene got up and walked up to him. Her petite figure seeming more intimidating than usual.
"Try me babes". Caleb continued.
"Don't call me that!".
"Uh, Aaron, a little help here?", Ryan pleaded, shooting his friend an irritated glare. He hadn't said one word since they barged in on the girls. He was hovering out in the corridor not wanting to be bothered with entering the compartment.
