-Dinah's Pov-

Yes sir." I mumble, listening to my manager go on and on about the things I have to do before I can go home.

"... and I want you to finish writing that new song before you go home" He gives my final task and I sigh loudly as soon as he's out of ear shot.

I will literally do anything that doesn't involve working at the moment, but sadly my day still has 2 hours left.

While completing the song, I type a quick text to my girlfriend, Y/N, explaining that I'll be home a little later than usual. As soon as the text is delivered, I shove my phone back into my pocket and continue sorting through songs.

Working as a singer is hard work but it is all worth it.
After reporting to my manager, he finally gives me permission to head home.

I slug my car, feeling as if I'm carrying the weight of an elephant and after an agonising drive I can finally turn into our driveway. Upon entering the driveway, I notice another car parked in my spot. Ed Sheeran.

I love him dearly but I honestly don't have the energy to deal with him and Y/Nbeing loud and boyish. even though Y/N is a girl she can be very boyish and sometimes manly which is sexy as fuck.

I sigh once again for what feels like the millionth time and pull myself to the already unlocked door. I decide to slowly and silently open it, praying that I can slip in without them noticing but to no luck. As soon as I set foot on the hardwood floors, Y/Nand Ed jump out from behind the door, giving me a fright.

"Was that really necessary?" I ask, but no one hears... They're too busy laughing and mocking my frightened yelp. With tears stinging my eyes, I head for our bedroom but Y/Ncaptures my arm. "Come on, babe. It was just a joke. No need to overreact." She says, trying to hug me but I just shove him away.

"Overreact? You scared me! And you knew I was tired!" I defend but Y/Nis quick to fire back. "We just wanted to have fun! No need to get all angry about it!" She says, raising her voice. "Well try having fun in a less immature way!" I yell back but as soon as she starts yelling back, I interrupt.

"I am tired and not in the mood, okay? I'm going to bed so don't be too loud." I say and climb the stairs, leaving Y/N to clear the awkwardness hanging in the air. "Sorry about that, mate. Looks like she had a bad day. Mind if we reschedule?" I hear her say to Ed and I silently thank Y/Nfor being such a wonderful girlfriend.

I know Y/N is going to give me some time to cool off, so I decide to take a long time appreciating the shower I've dreamt of all day. After changing into some comfortable leggings and Y/N's sweater, I decide to head down to find Y/Nsitting at the television. Without saying anything, I place myself on the armrest of the chair she is sitting on and throw my legs across her lap, placing my arm around her neck.

"Hi." I whisper and she presses a kiss to my cheek. "Feeling better?" She asks and I nod, laying my head on her shoulder. "Sorry about earlier. I didn't expect it." I apologise and Y/Nnods.

"I'm sorry too. I handled it terribly. We'll have to take Ed out for dinner some though, because I think he'd afraid of us now." Y/Nsays and I smile, snuggling further into her chest.

"Let's get you to bed, babe." I hear Y/Nwhisper and the last thing I remember is her dragging me to bed.
