Playing with the drink in your hands you shifted slightly in the seat. Staring at your house you placed the cup down on the cup holder and unbuckled. Reaching for the handle you turned towards Normani as her hand landed on your thigh. "Are you okay" she asked staring at you, nodding slightly you sighed and bit down on your lip. "Yeah I'm okay" you whispered before opening the door and grabbing the cup "Thank you for the ride Normani' you added, she nodded and waited until you were inside before she drove off. Sighing quietly you leaned against the door and traced the lid of the cup. Pushing yourself away from the door, you made your way towards the bedroom. Reaching for your phone you sighed not getting a reply to her. Sitting down on the bed you wrapped your arms around your knees and leaned your head back against the headboard. Rubbing your legs softly you stared down at the phone hoping her name would come on the screen. You wanted her badly to reply to you, to send you a message about last night.

Biting down on your lip you picked up the phone and scrolled down the contacts. Clicking on her name you placed the phone to your ear and closed your eyes. "Dinah" you whispered you heard as she sighed into the phone before a bit of shuffling. "Its not the right time Y/N" she said into the phone. "We need to talk" you said quietly picking softly at your blanket. "I cant right now" she added, biting down on your lip you closed your eyes. "Then when" you whispered afraid of your voice. "Can I go over around 9" she asked, sighing quietly you nodded your head even though she couldn't see you. "You know where the key is at" you said before you hung up. Rubbing your eyes you laid down on your bed and curled up, pulling the blankets up.

Jumping slightly you sat up when you heard the door being shut. Rubbing your eyes you looked over at the clock and slowly got off the bed. Walking towards the bedroom door you peeked your head out and noticed her placing your keys on the table. "You're early" you whispered, she turned to you and rubbed the back of her head. "I was with my family" she mumbled as she stared at you. Nodding you bit down on your lip and walked towards the couch. "What did you want to talk about" she chuckled nervously as she stared at you. "I think you know what" you replied wrapping your arms around your legs. she nodded her head and sat down next to you rubbing her arm softly.

"Uh" she started to say before she stared down at her lap "I don't know what to say" she said, you watched as she rubbed her thigh softly, she was nervous to be there with you. she didn't want to talk about it, she just wanted to forget about it. Rubbing your knees softly you nodded and sighed quietly before running your fingers through your hair. "Did it mean anything to you" you asked staring at your best friend. she played with her nose ring before she nodded her head slightly. "I loved it" she whispered, her eyes focused on her lap "Every minute of it" she added before she moved her gaze to you. "But, we were drunk" she said staring into your eyes, nodding slightly you bit down on your lip. "It was a mistake. It wasn't suppose to happen. When I saw her hands all over you, I lost it" she added "she had no right to have her hands on you like that. she could have taken advantage of you and just left you in bed" she whispered looking into your eyes.

"Just how you left me" you asked she closed her eyes and ran her fingers through her hair.
"I had to leave" she whispered rubbing her arm as she stared over at you "I was afraid to hurt you" she added "I slept with my best friend, that seems so wrong. I took advantage of you when you were drunk, that's not how I wanted to express my love to you" she said playing with her nose ring. "I never wanted to hurt you, I thought that if I left afterwards we could go back to how we were. Just being best friends, we could go back to our friendship and not have that stupid night make everything awkward between us" she whispered.

"What did you think was going to happen Dinah" you asked as you stood up "Did you think that waking up in the morning alone I would have just forgotten about it. I would have just moved on from a night that meant everything to me. A night that to me wasn't a mistake" you yelled clenching your hands "Do you honestly think that we can just forget about last night and go back to being best friends. Do think it's that easy to pretend it never happened just so our friendship wont be awkward" you asked biting down on your lip. she stood up and stared at you. "We can try" she whispered. Closing your eyes your turned around and walked around the couch shaking your head. "I can't pretend it never happened Dinah. I woke up alone in a cold empty bed. I was hoping to wake up with the girl I spent the night with. I was hoping I would wake up to you there, to your arms wrapped around me" you whispered staring at her "As much as I want to forget it as much as I want to pretend it never happened for the sake of saving our friendship, I cant" you added.

"I love you Dinah and I cant pretend that it didn't mean anything to me. That, that night when I kissed you for the first time my stomach did flips" you whispered. she sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "You love me" she asked as she stared at you. Looking down at your feet you sighed and nodded your head

"More then anything" you whispered playing with your hands. you flinched as her hand slammed down on the couch. "I'm sorry" she whispered as she stared at you. she continued to whisper it as she walked towards the door and slipped her shoes on "I cant do this" she added before she opened the door and stepped out.
