Chapter 1
~Faith~
Faith sighed as she walked down the pathway to her pack house. She was reminiscing on the events that happened after she left the Blue Moon pack and rejected her mate.

'God, I hope I made the right choice," Faith thought to herself as she ran in her wolf form back to her house. She had to pack her things, put them in her new truck, and drive. She didn't really know where she would go as of now, though. She didn't know if she should go rogue or try to find a pack that would take her in.
The latter would be the logical choice.
She shifted as soon as she got to her back porch and quickly scrambled inside with her brother's jacket on. Running up to her room, she started a mental check list on the things she would need. One of the biggest things was some cash, though. It's a good thing she had a little saved away in case of an emergency.
Finishing packing her things, which wasn't much, only two suitcases and a book bag full of cash, she put them in the back seat of her truck and started the engine.
She hesitated, sitting in the garage, thinking about what she had just done. Obvious shock was written all over her face as she stared in the rearview mirror.
Taking a deep breath in and a long one out, she drove onto the road and didn't look back.
Faith was startled awake by a few bangs on her driver's side window. Her breathing hitched in her throat when she couldn't see who it was because of how dark it was outside. She was trying to figure out if whoever it was was dangerous through her sense of smell when a few more knocks came, followed by a crash of a fist through her passenger's side window. Faith let out a startled yelp as whoever punched out her window opened the door and hauled her out by her hair.
Trying to break free from the death hold on her hair, a voice came through the darkness.
"Michael, let the poor girl go." It was a man's voice, deep, with a sense of power surrounding it. 'Michael,' let go of her hair, and Faith punched him in the gut. She tried to run away but only got ten feet by the time she was stopped by another death grip on her arm.
Faith then tried to kick whoever had hold of her arm, but was stopped when they caught her leg as well, bringing her to the ground.
"Stop, now." It was the same man as before, but this time she could tell whoever it was was trying to use his Alpha voice on her. She laughed, stopped struggling for a moment, and as soon as her attacker let go she tried to land another kick or a punch, really anything at that point in time. He caught her fist in his hand and started squeezing, on the verge of breaking her hand right there and then.
"Alright, alright, I'll stop if you stop," Faith said as her hand started to hurt. The man let go of her fist, but another guy who she was guessing was Michael again, took her arms and held them in a police-like fashion.
"If I were you, I wouldn't try something like that again," Michael whispered in her ear.
"Wasn't planning to," Faith replied with a laugh. He retaliated with squeezing quite hard, earning a yelp from Faith, which was when he stopped.
"That's enough, Michael."
"Yes, sir. Sorry, sir," Michael said and bowed his head in respect.
"Now, young lady," Said the voice, coming into range where she could focus and finally see who he was, "Care to tell me who you are, and why you could resist my Alpha voice?"
