(Sherlock's POV)
Everyone had gone to bed except me and the Doctor.
"Sherlock, can I get your opinion on something?" The Doctor asked.
On something? He could just say it. I was about to voice my disgust with the choice of words he used but the look on his face stopped me. He motioned for me to follow him into the TARDIS. Once inside he explained what he really wanted.
"Now we can talk freely." He announced.
"And we couldn't before?" I asked.
"You think Chaos doesn't have your flat bugged?"
"The possibility had crossed my mind. What did you want to tell me away from prying ears?"
"I've an idea. And I think you'll want to hear it." The Doctor said with a smile.

(Sherlock's POV)
It's getting pretty late in the morning and Molly still wasn't awake. I decided to check on her to make sure she was ok instead of sending John or the Doctor, still trying to make up for hurting her I guess.
The night before I had tried to tell myself that it was going to be alright, I still have a few days left. But I know if I haven't thought of anything yet I probably won't so I might as well enjoy these last few days. Softly knocking, I walk in but stop dead in my tracks as my heart sinks at the sight.
"Molly?" I asked quietly. Molly's not here. "Molly!"
It's obvious someone came for her in the middle of the night. There's a piece of paper on the floor with an address. Left by mistake I suspect. My heart is racing as I think what could be happening to her. Rushing out of the room I grab my coat and pocketed the note.
"John! Doctor!! She's gone!"
"What?!" John asked confused.
"Go look, someone took her. And I need to find her!" I said.

(John's POV)
I watched in shock as Sherlock stormed out.
"Right, well, Doctor, I think we need to help Sherlock."
The Doctor didn't reply.
"Doctor?"
"I'm sorry John. I can't interfere here. It's a fixed point in time." The Doctor explained as he opened the TARDIS door indicating he's going to leave.
Anger boiled up in me.
"So you're just going to leave?! What was the point of staying here?! If you we're just going to leave when this time came and not help us!"
I grabbed my coat and left in a huff but I heard the TARDIS sound and I knew he was gone.
On the pavement, I realized, I have no clue where Sherlock went. As I was thinking through my options I felt something hard hit me in the back of my head. Ouch! Again? Was my last thought before I fell into unconsciousness.

After John had left, the Doctor did leave..but he came back and went to John's room. He was searching for something. I've got to find it, he thought. He stood up thinking, what exactly was he trying to find? Something that helped explain John..? One of the reasons he had landed next to John, Sherlock, and Molly was because of some sort of Time Lord distress call. As he was thinking that, he found what he was looking for. Inside John's nightstand was a Fob watch... The Doctor picked it up. Fob watches can send distress signals? It wasn't the right time to open it though. He must continue on this adventure as if he had never seen it. But the time would come when the watch would be opened.

(Sherlock's POV)
I blinked against the soft light of the sun setting as I woke up. Hearing someone chuckling behind me, I take in my surroundings. I'm on a roof, but I'm not alone. Two chairs are in front of me. One to my right, with a man tied to it and a bag over his head but I can tell its John. One to my left, with a woman tied to it with a bag over her head, Molly. There's a table to my right in-between me and John with two guns on it. What happened? I had ran after Molly when someone had placed a cloth over my mouth and nose covered in a strong chemical smell. Moriarty stepped in front of me, hands in his pockets and a big grin on his face. Sebastian probably isn't too far away either. Maybe another roof with a sniper rifle.
"It's time Sherly." He said as he untied me. "Oh and don't try anything stupid. Sebastian isn't too far away."
I stood up looking at the guns, hands shaking. "I had more time!"
"Yeah well, I got bored. Oh, Wait!" Moriarty cried.
He went up to John, took off his hood, and then did the same to Molly. "Wouldn't want you to miss their faces." He said with a wink.
John looked terrified but gave me a stern look that said "do it." He wanted me to shoot him. Molly looked horrified as she now realized what was going to happen. She's crying softly. As one tear rolled down her face another one quickly replaces it.
"Sherlock, do it." John said drilling me with a look of, "we've already talked about this."
"No! No one will miss me. John has friends who'd miss him." Molly said trying to make me shoot her instead.
"You're stalling." Moriarty said in a high pitched voice. "Choose Sherly." He said in a deeper voice.
Looking at John and Molly with fear on their faces, I turn to John and ask:
"Do you trust me?" John slowly but surely nodded his head. I then turned to Molly. "Do you trust me?" I asked again.
Without any hesitation she nodded her head and said "Yes."
Looking back at Moriarty, I smiled at the confusion on his face. "Wrong day to die." I said to Moriarty then ran to John and Molly, holding my arms out, causing all of us to fall off the roof.
"Sherlock!! What are you doing?!!" John yelled.
"Sherlock!!" Molly screeched. Before we hit the pavement, we fell into the TARDIS.
"Took you long enough." I said to the Doctor as I stood up and untied John and Molly. John stood up shocked.
"But..what..wait...I thought..what just happened?" He asked confused. The Doctor walked up to John and explained.
"Well I think I just helped save you lot!" After that The Doctor disappeared to somewhere in the TARDIS.
As soon as I was done untying Molly she threw her arms around me crying. I wrapped my arms around her too.
"It's ok. I'm sorry. I couldn't tell you. It's ok now." I said trying to comfort her as best as I could. Just then The Doctor came back carying two orange blankets. He threw one around John and the other around Molly.
"W-what is this?" John asked.
"It's for shock I explained chuckling a bit. Molly shook her head, took it off and threw it at the Doctor. He dodged it easily with a smile.
"But I thought you couldn't interfere?" John asked still greatly confused.
"Sorry 'bout that. If you knew it would change the events. ...eh wibbly wobbly." The doctor explained with a wave of his hand.
"Right well better get you back to 221B!" He exclaimed as he went to the console messing with buttons and levers as he steered the TARDIS.

(Sherlock's POV)
The Doctor had taken them back to 221 Baker Street and was saying his goodbyes.
"It's time I'd be on my way" he said, then hugged Molly who returned the hug and then hugged John who hesitated only a moment. When he hugged me I just stood there, not completely sure what to do.
"Thank you." I said.
"Oh any time!" The Doctor said with a smile. "And this isn't the last time, I'll be seeing you again!" He winked and went into the TARDIS. We backed up as the TARDIS made that distinctive sound and slowly disappeared. And just as quickly as he came into our life, the mad bow tie man was gone.

(Molly's POV)
John was in his room and Sherlock on the couch next to me. I took this opportunity to talk with Sherlock. I needed to get this out.
"Sherlock," I took a deep breath to steady my nerves. "Through this ...adventure a-and even before it.." Sherlock opened his mouth to say something but I stopped him. "Just let me get this out Sherlock. I-I love you. I always have. I've stood by your side even when you didn't see me and I'll still be there for you even if you don't want to take this any further." I looked down at my hands feeling my cheeks heat up and a bit relieved that I'd finally gotten it out.
"Molly," Sherlock grabbed my hand in his and used his other hand to gently turn my face to look him in the eyes. "I've always seen you. There by my side. And I love you too. It's a wonder how you can put up with me." He said with a chuckle. I smiled at him feeling the happiest I'd felt in a long time.

(John's POV)
I fell onto my bed. After all the excitement I'm exhausted. Turning on my side, I see my pocket watch on my nightstand... I don't remember taking it out. Slowly I pick it up. Actually, now that I think about it, I can't remember who gave it to me. I don't even like pocket watches.
THE END
