Winters POV

SD Live

Backstage

I had just defended my title against Natalya and was feeling on top of the world. People probably thought I was swaggering around with a chip on my shoulder, and maybe I was, but I deserve to feel like this.

I was making my way to the locker room to have a shower when I heard someone shout my name behind me.

It registered inside my head who it was, and I stopped, deciding whether or not to turn around.

"Yes Randy?" I made the decision to turn.

He walked quickly towards me which made me back into the wall.

"I just wanted to say congratulations on winning the title. I didn't see you the other day to say it."

"Oh, well thanks." I smiled looking down.

He didn't reply so I looked up to see him studying my face.

Things were getting awkward now as no one was speaking.

"I guess I should be going..." I started, trying to slide between him and the wall he had me cornered into.

"I have a feeling you are trying to avoid me, Winter." He said, looking down at me and raising his head a little before placing his hand on the wall next to my head.

I paused for a while thinking about what to say. I thought about making an excuse, before deciding that no- this isn't appropriate anymore. He shouldn't be backing me up into corners and going out of his way to talk to me. He didn't really want to congratulate me. I know he didn't. He just wanted to talk to me, and any excuse to talk to me would do him.

"Well maybe I am Randy..."

He frowned.

"Why?"

"Well...I just don't see what your goal is...like why do you keep talking to me? What use is it to you?" I asked.

"I am only trying to be nice, Winter." He defended himself.

"Yeah, but we both know that isn't true don't we? You're trying to win me over, trying to make me pick you or something." I sarcastically smiled, before ducking under his arm and trying to walk away.

He moved in front of me quickly, blocking my path.

"I would be better for you."

I rolled my eyes.
This was exactly what I thought it was.

"Look, I really think we should have no association whatsoever with each other, starting from this point onwards. It's not doing either of us any good." I tried to be polite.

"Winter just give me a chance to show you. I can be good for you. Dean isn't. And besides, I know you want me." He moved in closer to me.

"Yeah well maybe he isn't good for me, but Dean makes me happy and he is the only one I want, understand?" I asked, moving closer to him to show him I wasn't afraid.

No answer.

"Good." I said finally, smiling, before hoisting my title onto my shoulder and walking around him, hands up in surrender.

I walked down the corridor, feeling his eyes burning through my skull. I didn't turn around as I truly meant what I said, from now onwards we will have no more to do with each other.

I turned the corridor to see Dean walking towards me.

I smirked as I walked towards him.

"Hey baby." He said lowly.

"Hi." I grinned.

He kissed me on the forehead.

Randy's POV

I walked slowly down the hall she had just gone down, hand at my mouth, thinking about what she had just said.

She doesn't mean it.

I am irresistible to her.

I came to the opening of the corridor she turned at and looked to see her with her back to me, with Dean stood in front of her planting a kiss on her forehead.

I needed to do something to make her see sense.

But what could I do?
