Winters POV
The next day

"Hi, Mom...I've been suspended from WWE..." I said down the line.

"You've been what!? Winter what have you done?" I grimaced as I heard her tone.

"It's really not that bad...I just got into a fight and you know how heavy handed I can be." I tried to lighten the situation.

"How bad was it?"

I clenched my jaw not wanting to answer.

"She ended up in hospital...I think I broke her nose." I said silently smirking but not wanting to hear my mothers next words.

"Winter Marseille Calaway!!!" She shouted down the phone.

I grimaced yet again hearing my full name, remembering hearing it as a child when I had done something naughty.

"I want to see you Mrs. We need to talk about this. Does your father know? And seeing as you have all the time in the world off, it looks like you can come and spend some time in Cali with Momma." She said with a certain tone I couldn't quite pinpoint.

"Yeah...and no I haven't told Dad yet, so please don't say anything, please?" I begged.

"Woah, I'm leaving that for you. Good luck with that sweatheart."

"Thanks...I need to go, talk soon. Bye Mom I love you."

"I love you Win."

I put my phone into my pocket and looked at the rain hitting the windscreen as I sat in a lay-by on a road I didn't quite know. I had spent most of today driving around aimlessly, but loving the free time.

Pretty much as soon as I'd put my phone in my pocket it started to buzz again.

Dean.

I hadn't seen him since he left the room last night.
I'm not sure how I feel about much at the moment.

Part of me is embarrassed, part of me doesn't want to hear what he will say, and another part of me is angry at Dean because I know this wouldn't have happened if he did t sleep with her.

I guess I'm going to have to face him some time.

I sighed as I swiped the screen to answer the call.

"Hello?" I said.

"Winter, where the fuck have you been? You have had me worried sick." I heard his worried tone.

"Just driving around." I said truthfully.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"I don't really know. I'm just in a lay-by. I drove home last night and today I have just been driving around Florida."

"Are you avoiding me?" The inevitable question.

"No...not avoiding, just...keeping my distance." I spoke.

No reply.

"Look, where are you?" I asked.

"Sat outside your apartment where I have been almost all day." He sounded pissed off.

"I'm coming now, I don't think I will be too long. See you soon." I ended the call and put the car into gear, to find my way out of the maze I found myself in today.

40 minutes later

I tapped on his window to get his attention and he looked at me before getting out of the car.

His expression made my stomach churn.

He. Was. Pissed.

"Come on let's get inside its fucking peeing down out here." He pulled me by my arm to the lobby.

We entered the lift and I bit my lip as I saw him chewing his cheeks.

"Look-"

"Wait- not yet. Wait until we're in your apartment." He stopped me.

I looked at my shoes to escape the awkwardness that had formed in the atmosphere.

Pretty soon we were in my apartment and he was leant against my kitchen side as I was stood a few feet away.

He was biting his thumb and staring at the floor.

"So..." I started.

He flicked his eyes at me.

"Why have you been avoiding me all day." He asked, abruptly.

"I was embarrassed..." I looked down.

He nodded slowly, but his gaze had moved back to the floor.

"And I was angry Dean." This got his attention.

He frowned at me.

"Why?" He looked puzzled.

I laughed in exasperation.

"Because if you didn't sleep with Eva then I wouldn't be suspended right now!" I shouted.

"So you're blaming me now?" He pointed at himself.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"I'm not the one who hit her, Winter." He said slowly.

"Well no, but you definitely tapped her." I mumbled.

He put his hands over his eyes .

"How many times Winter. I'm sorry okay? If I could go back and change it I would." He searched my face.

"But this is not my fault." He continued.

"Well it wouldn't have happened if you didn't sleep with her!" I huffed.

We stood in silence for a few moments before I decided to speak up again.

"My Dad already doesn't like you, and now you have given him another reason not to."

"You're going to tell him I slept with her?" He asked, hurt.

"Well what else am I supposed to say Dean? He will ask why." I looked at the floor.

"Just tell him she said something inappropriate to you, I'm sure he will believe his little princess."

"I don't know Dean..."
